There is a happy medium that was overshot when TTK launched. It was a little too much change. It just needs dialed back so there is more relevant content to play. Let players use whatever weapon or armor they want is what was advertised but the truth is most people want to use armor or weapons they can't at this point for fear of losing light levels. Overall: Had more fun in vanilla because I loved all the weapons and armor. But, TTK added much needed aspects to the game.
