3 RepliesMy fireteam tried for hours to get it one day, and we just kept running out of time. Came back the next time it was available with better gear and a better strategy and managed to finish it with about a minute to spare. Find yourself a good fireteam, lock in a solid strategy (there are guides everywhere), and best of luck!

did that with 2 290+'s and one 280+ how bad are u?

It's not hard, you and your team are just not prepared for the fight ahead, or aren't communicating properly. We always finish with 3 minutes left. Almost 4 last time. One works on boss alone on right side. Other on right clears ads and blights, and then helps on boss (helper should have weapons of light) (boss fighter should have a tether) The one on left works solely on blights and ads. When the boss is near dead, all three focus fire on boss. Then clear blights, captains and remaining ads. Simple. Raid gear helps as they deal bonus damage to taken. The raid sniper and MG melt through the boss. My first completion I used antipodal, telesto and vertigo, so raid gear isn't required. If you have the sleeper, it works great too. Best of luck, but it does NOT need to be nerfed. It should be challenging and not everyone should have it, if they can't beat it as is.

Beat it for the first time last night. But it was 5min after reset, so bungie didn't give any rewards. Stupid a s s policy; if you make into the fallen ship, you should get the rewards for finishing it!

Just two manned it last night. Focus on the blights first. I believe 6 in total spawn, two at a time. The order in which you attack should go blights, ads, damage boss. Rinse and repeat.

I'd be happy if you got a checkpoint at the lift. I don't want it enough to waste 10 minutes on the first (easy) part, just to try get to the important part! Keep your black spindle!

It's not that hard... Got it first attempt with 2 ransoms recruited on here... I don't see why it's such a struggle? Why do people want everything made easier? Then the challenges are removed and the game has nothing left to offer

I think you would be OK to get it with three people though. You don't need a mic.

Then there would be no point in grinding for it. Took me a long ass time to finally get it, and it is TOTALLY worth it.

I tried a few times last night and failed. I'd agree it's too hard but I won't complain. I just won't do it. I get no enjoyment out of trying and failing over and over.
