Yet nobody cries about Weapons of Light and snipers in PvP. And now EVERYTHING is a OHK bodyshot.

Edited by Sixclicks: 11/12/2015 1:30:54 PMYep, never understood why so few people run WoL Titan in PvP. It can shutdown all supers and abilities and one shot everyone to the body with snipers. WoL gives you a 15 second (or 20 second with the helm) 35% damage boost to all weapons. You just gotta learn to play around your bubble and not inside of it. Titans have even had this very powerful setup since launch.

Weapons of Light is a SUPER. Not something that you can use throughout the entire map. Besides Defender Titans don't have any offensive supers so when they're in their super this isn't bad to give them a one shot kill with a sniper. Heck it's like a crippled version of Golden Gun which is harder to use and requires you to stay put near your bubble.

Not really. You can have your bubble the whole game after the first one. It's cooldown is very short. And you play around your bubble stepping in once and a while for cover or to refresh the buff. Just drop it in the middle of a heavy combat area. I'd say it's better than GG for killing non-super using enemies since you have as many shots as you have ammo and it lasts for a very long time. Like 6-8 times as long as GG. Plus you can also supress better than a Nightstalker.

Probably because almost nobody uses it! How often do you see a Defender in PvP?

Edited by Sixclicks: 11/12/2015 1:27:47 PMBecause too many people don't know how to use it properly. They just wait inside their bubble wasting it. Defender can easily be the strongest class when played right. You have a grenade that's better then shadowshot for suppression. OHK snipers and guarenteed 2 burst kill pulses or 2-3 hit kill scouts (Jade Rabbit hits for 99 damage). And if you play well then you'll have another bubble ready before the first one expires. That means you can potentially have that 35% damage buff the entire game after your first bubble. Not to mention any teamates that step through also gain those benefits, so if you had a team working together with it it would be extremely deadly. You also gain points for each kill they get while under the effect of your WoL. I use Defender in PvP.

Fair play on using Defender. I can safely say that it is the least used class in PvP by a long margin. I agree that people don't know how to use it. I'd say that's mainly because they don't attempt to use it often. It doesn't give you quick kills like the other supers. When I do see someone using it, you're right in that they just sit inside it. They're just asking to be killed by another super. It will never be popular, because you can't run around and get easy kills with it.

Yep, unfortunately that's true. People always tend to take the path of least resistance. Plus everyone seems to be high or drunk when they play. I know if I was playing high or drunk that I would do terrible as a Defender. That's when I switch to Sunbreaker instead lol.
