So how did the cabal got on oryx's ship again?
They can't just crash their ship into the dreadnought since there is that weapon that wiped out the awokens, with that being said, did they aboard the dreadnought after we disabled the weapon? So apparently they know exactly when will the guardians will aboard the ship and exactly when we will disable the weapon? Because when we planted the transmat beacon, they were already fighting the hive. Somebody please explain this to me

7 RepliesThe Cabal bought a giant Nokia, rigged up some rocket boosters, and went ham at the Dreadnaught. Some say it was "extreme tactics" but I think it was completely amazing.

They appeared from slipspace very close to the dreadnaught so it wouldn't have time to charge the weapon.

They tied a load of poor phalanxes on the front of there ship to stop the weapon from damaging the drop ship, then crashed it in to the dreadnaught. Either that or they were very drunk and didn't see it

My hypothesis. There were two cabal ships around Saturn, per the holographic display on the cabal ship bridge. They ran in close proximity one in front of the other. They flew at max power straight at the dreadnought. A pulse could have taken out the first ship and probably damaged the second. The second ship, still with momentum, pushed past the destroyed first ship and breached the dreadnought.

If anyone of the races have tech that can take at least 1 hit from that Dreadnaught main weapon it has to be the Cabal. I'm sure they just tanked the first hit then crashed their ship. Either way it was a suicide mission. Get vaporized on your ship or get assimilated into the Taken collective.

1 ReplyWhen it came to the cabal launch they placed their ship on a launch pad, facing directly at the dreadnaught. Then one lone phalanx comes a long and falcon punches it straight into the dreadnaught before anything can even happen.
