I always do my first run through on the normal difficulty. Then after I finish it and know what I'm doing I do it on the harder difficulty

Maybe if the difficulty changed things other than player health/damage output. I don't mind getting one-shot, but dumping an entire mag into one dude's head just ain't fun.
