Disagreeing with DeeJ is fine. Not liking DeeJ is fine. Making posts calling for someone to be fired because you don't like or agree with them speaks more to your character (or lack of) than it does Deej's.

Also, I noticed immediately that this week's update was Cozmo, but I'm wondering if deej is on vacation, or if he got pulled from the update because of his tone last week. [spoiler]I bet he's in in Rio[/spoiler]

I personally think that Deej is amazing at this job. If I was community manager, I'd be calling you whiny bitches out every single update. A man with that kind of composure, I can respect.

I can't believe how many want him fired. He has a family, house, bills, and is human like the rest of us. He's doing what he is supposed to do. If he didn't he would be gone already. Instead of rallying with pitchforks, we should provide constructive criticism. You know ideas and suggestions. However because deej and cozmo write the updates. They are subject to the most hate. Remember guys he doesn't make the game. He only works there. It's the higher ups we should be upset with. This game has major potential. We just need to voice our opinions and hope they listen. [Deep inside Bungie HQ, the top Destiny executives are locked in an intense meeting] Product Manager: So it's come to our attention that a user on the forums is unhappy with DeeJ, to say the least, and they want him out. Luke Smith, with both legs kicked up on the the table, flinging pencils at the ceiling: Hah, FINALLY! Nameless Exec: Can we refrain from the usual outbursts today, Luke? Luke Smith: Uh yeah guy, you don't even have a name. Just get DeeJ in here so we can sort this shit out. [DeeJ is called in and enters the conference room shortly after] DeeJ: So um.. what's this all about? Product Manager, sighing deeply: There's no easy way to say this DeeJ... there's a guardian on the forums who wants you fired. There is general unrest in the community. A number of us haven't slept in weeks. We're up to our ears in complaints. DeeJ: What!? Who wants me fired? [Nameless Exec pulls up the forums on his app and shows DeeJ the thread. DeeJ takes a minute to skim the through the post] DeeJ: "Doesn't do his job???" "Snide remarks??" Luke Smith snickering: You're in hot water ol' DeeBag. What did you even say to piss these guys off this time? Second, also Nameless Exec: Haven't you read the previous update? Luke: Let's not do this part where we pretend I give a shit about the weekly update. Just tell me what he said. DeeJ: Please, I barely said anything. I made a simple joke about weapon parts-- Luke quickly sits up in his chair: [b][i]What!?[/i][/b] [The room becomes visibly pale, shock and sweat on everyone's faces. Cosmo reaches for his mouth, holding back vomit] DeeJ: Why is everyone flipping out, it's just weapon par-- [Luke jumps off his seat and wildly swings at DeeJ knocking him to the floor] Luke: How.. [i]DARE[/i] you! DeeJ, holding his jaw where he was struck: LUKE WHAT THE FLYING FU-- Luke: Do you have ANY idea how long it takes me to accumulate those god damn weapon parts!? [Two execs quickly restrain Luke] Product Manager, clearly in shock: Jesus Christ Luke! Get a hold of yourself. [Luke forces himself out of restraint and straightens out his suit. He shoots a glare at DeeJ before turning to the product manager] Luke in an intensely hushed voice: Do something about this. Just look at what he did to Cosmo. [Product Manager turns to see a pale Cosmo rocking back and forth in a corner of the conference room] Luke: If you don't fix this I'll-- Product Manager holds up a hand to Luke, nodding solemnly: I know, I know.. Product Manager turns to DeeJ, visibly shaken up by the turn of events: DeeJ, this whole thing has gotten out of hand. You really crossed the line this time. Honestly, I wish you just said something mildly racist instead, at least we can figure out how to backpedal from that... but weapon parts? I'm sorry DeeJ.. you've given us no choice. You've forced us to shoot the messenger. We're gonna have to let you go. [DeeJ, bewildered by situation, shuffles to his feet. He opens his mouth to get one last word in but shakes his head instead, turns around, and walks out the door. Silence descends upon the room in the aftermath of the meeting] Luke, after a long silent pause: Well... at least we know the fate of [i]that[/i] fool. [Nameless Execs chuckle] Product Manager, shaking his head: Please, don't encourage him.

He's to busy fuking his dog in its ass . That's why he was up all night cause his dog had the runs at the twitch reveal. Poor doggy.:(

If he sucks at his job and is not trying to improve, that is an [b][i]excellent[/i][/b] reason to call for his dismissal. I've seen enough to know that this is not an isolated incident but a pattern of behavior. He should be fired, and I refuse to apologize for saying so. The world needs ditch diggers and burger flippers too.

If Deej is doing his job to bungie satisfaction then he will keep his job regardless of what you think. I think his does exactly what bungie tells him to do and I don't like what he does, but we don't employee him bungie does!
