Day One Players - was vanilla destiny better than TTK? (minus the materials grind, of course.)
I think it was.
(I appreciate the fair and honest replies. Especially from those that disagree. The lack of salt is refreshing.)

For me it was more about the experience, it always has been. I'm ecstatic to be part of this ever-changing game. Seeing the way it has progressed, the ups and downs, has been well worth the price I've paid. Does Bungie always make the best choices? Of course not. But that's been part of the fun for me. Being a budding game developer myself it's fascinating to see the way Destiny has grown. I look forward to being a part of this game and community for all of Destiny's ten-year lifespan.
