Can I get legendary marks without taken King?

2 RepliesWhen you complete a reputation cycle for the cryptarch, crucible, vanguard dead orbit etc, you'll get a legendary weapon or armor. Simply cash that item in and you'll receive three legendary coins each time. I'm year one as well, and I understand your difficulties. I wonder if they'll even let us log onto the game in the year three?

1 ReplyHello LWS1824, Legendary Marks are a new unifying currency that were introduced with Destiny: The Taken King. In order to earn Legendary Marks you must either complete the Weekly or Daily activities, or dismantle Year 2 legendary weapons and armor. Unfortunately, in order to complete either the Weekly or Daily activity you must own TTK, because the playlists are specific to it, or be at least at a Light Level of 240, and to earn Year 2 legendary items, you must also own TTK. 5 RepliesNot sure, but even if you can, you wouldn't be able to use them for anything, really, since all the gear you could buy with them requires you to be level 40, and without TTK you can only hit 34.
