Beta player here, and yes I liked the vanilla game the most. I never understood peoples complaining about the grind. I really don't get it now seeing as everything is easymode compared to vanilla. I understand that they wanted to simplify things seeing as there majority customer (the casual) would like to feel as though they're getting somewhere. But I think that mentality wrecked shiz. You're supposed to grind for the legit gear and guns, that's what makes being an owner of this stuff something to care about. Im a diehard destiny fan and will continue to play any future content they offer, but I stopped playing weeks ago for the same reasons every other vet has noted, and probably wont be back till the next DLC drop's.
