Why do so many say moldering shards don't matter in hard mode???
I just had twenty shards taken from me after beating oryx hard mode. Received 2 310 exotic drops, one 317 pair of harrowed boots, one 313 harrowed scout along with 3 other normal raid drops. Pretty sure moldering shards Def matter.

Edited by Cubonej: 11/11/2015 12:58:56 AMShards only give normal mode rewards, meaning below 310 light which is useless as a hard reward. And oryx only rewards you with 1x harrow item weapon/armor per run so theres no way you got does rewards in 1 run.

1 ReplyYou are guaranteed a drop without the Shards, but you have the chance for the extra loot with the Shards. Basically the Shards do matter.

1 Reply10-20-2015 Hotfix Notes King's Fall Hard Mode has the following changes: King's Fall Hard Mode rewards will drop up to 320 Light Oryx in Hard Mode will guarantee a Raid item drop each week, without requiring Moldering Shards Oryx in Normal mode will still require Moldering Shards Moldering Shards can drop in King's Fall Hard Mode, but only if a character hasn't cleared King's Fall Normal for the week
