I'm curious about some of these.
Don't post your actual name if you don't feel comfortable doing so, don't even feel obligated to state the language if you don't want to.
It was some time ago that I managed to find it, but my name translated (according to google) from Russian into "tap-hole". The hole at the bottom of a furnace through whoch molten metal flows.
So my guess is that one or more of my ancestors worked at, maintained, or made, tap-holes.

If you translate it from my language to the English language it literally means: From the mountain. So I guess one of my ancestors lived on a mountain or something??
