Thousand Yard Stare nerf?
The 'Thousand Yard Stare' or as I like to call it, 'Thousand Yard Aim Assist' in my opinion must be nerfed because of its game breaking statistics. This includes it's ridiculous aim assist that basically makes sniping take no skill what so ever in the pvp world. This combined with high impact makes the playing Trails of Osiris all most impossible to compete with. With all these compiled with lag makes pvp unfair in many situations (shot through walls, lag comp etc). Please do something about this Bungie as this is giving me and many other people in the Destiny community a hard time in pvp.

1 ReplyI'm not even gonna reply on your complaint on the gun itself since it's utter BS. But the lag you complaining about, you know who suffers the most from lag? Snipers, since aim assist is basicly not there when there is lag involved.

The only reason u see this instead of other snipers is because it is the easiest to get. Aim assist on snipers only slows down the reticle as u pass over someones head. Thats it. Does not make a bigger hit box or help the bullet magnetism. Us sir are a whiney bitch

Everyone gets one man, so just learn to snipe. If you're a shotgunner learn to stay out of lanes. It's not that hard to counter.

It doesnt even have that much aim assist. I think it's only at 54. You want to talk about a sniper that's broken. The eirene is -blam!-ing broken with its luck in the chamber perk

It's a sniper shouldn't it be a one shot kill? Also the glass from trials is better. Bigger hit box imo.

If you think it helps you aim you really shouldn't do pvp it only helps you by about 10% to stay on target plus don't just run wily nilly into the open if you know it's a sniper lane so enough with this nerf bull shit crap stop ruining other people's game play experience with this carp

3 RepliesThere were plenty of legendary snipers in year 1 like the LDR 5001 or the Longbow that had good aim assist. These have always existed and don't know why you're complaining now.

7 RepliesYea or have a mode where only primaries have ammo. Also 94 aim assist on the new trials sniper is ridiculous. 50 max aim assist on all snipers with 50 being things like spear and spindle. Hrof snipers with good stability dont need more of a crutch.

1000 yard doesnt have more aim assist than pre ttk snipers.

Funny thing is when a play trails and I see op weapons about to be use in match I'm like hmm this is going to suck but then I quickly realize that the people I'm playing against happen to suck at pvp
