Thousand Yard Stare nerf?
The 'Thousand Yard Stare' or as I like to call it, 'Thousand Yard Aim Assist' in my opinion must be nerfed because of its game breaking statistics. This includes it's ridiculous aim assist that basically makes sniping take no skill what so ever in the pvp world. This combined with high impact makes the playing Trails of Osiris all most impossible to compete with. With all these compiled with lag makes pvp unfair in many situations (shot through walls, lag comp etc). Please do something about this Bungie as this is giving me and many other people in the Destiny community a hard time in pvp.

Aim assist only slows down ur aim when coming across the head of an enemy, however it does not pull ur reticle towards the head. I agree though, all snipers could use a general reduction in aim assist

5 RepliesYou have 5k shotgun kills and the closest second is hand cannons at 3k. You use a secondary more than your PRIMARY weapon. Get good u scrub

1. No it isn't, literally yesterday a guy posted the numbers on the highest kills with each weapon, guess where snipers were ?? 3/4 the way down the list. Guess what was at the top by a very clear majority. yeah......Shotguns. 2. In year one there were many snipers that had more aa yet people didn't cry nerf as much as this, it is literally only down to the fact that most 1k stares were obtained through a simple quest that people "keep" getting killed by "it". Trust me, if there were more snipers available that could kill of a self res or normal revive, you'd still be getting killed by people with more skill than the rush shotty crew your more than likely a part of.

There are still snipers with higher aim assist in the game. You do know that right? It's just an easily attained weapon that can res snipe. [i]That[/i] is why it is so common. No one thinks "Yesssss I finally have a high aim assist sniper!!"
