Are high impact pulse rifles too good?
I'm not here to complain or anything, but the past couple days I've been running into a lot of people using the Lumydia-D or whatever from the gunsmith. That thing fùking shreds dude, its almost impossible to win a mid range gunfight against it.
Now this is coming from an avid pulse rifle user. I kind of feel like the high impact pulse rifles (messenger archetype) are too strong. Now I'm not calling for a mega Nerf or anything like that, but I'm just saying this archetype of pulse rifle is REALLY strong.
Just my opinion though, let me know what you guys think!

Three little words with glass half full and headseeker. After the second burst this bad boy does 42 damage and rising.

Thanks god casuals thinks Hawksaw it's the best one, thanks god. PS: The best pulse rifle in the whole game it's called Skorris Revenge, reactive reload and full stab, you can't win against one but it's an old weapon and very rare.

4 RepliesLyudmilla is crap. Same impact as nirwens mercy (as far as damage per crit in the crucible which is 32). Now a great high impact pulse is spare change. The only y2 pulse that can two burst kill someone

Lyudmilla-D was okay, but not the best. Full auto isn't needed, fires too slow. I'm just waiting for a headseeker and counterbalance Lyudmilla-D from Banshee...

1 Replybelieve it or not, that thing kicks like a mule. nirwen's mercy doesn't kick at all, but it's also not a two burst. the messenger was overpowered. no doubt about that. but the thing about low rof, high impact pulses is that they are less forgiving than the spammers. right now i still believe that the high rof/low impact ones are way more cancerous. they just spam the shit out of those things with no recoil

I got a Lyumdia D with perfect balance and crowd control. It's a two burst kill and I love the way it sounds. Get one if you don't have it already.

21 RepliesMy titans pulse rifle is easily the best pulse rifle roll I have ever seen. I got it when my team won a no land beyond match against another no land beyond team. [spoiler]shit was cash[/spoiler] Regardless, I almost screamed like a little girl when I got it. It has better base stats than the messenger.

There's just no good counter these days in mid range. HCs nerfed, autos underwhelming, scouts are good but still are beaten in most level gunfights.
