Why is Black Ops 3 zombies so hard?
I've been playing since WaW zombies and I love it. My highest round is 40 with one other person and I've been to 40 twice on ascension. In black ops 3 the zombies start sprinting at round 6 and they attack sooooo much faster. I don't understand why Treyarch made it harder. It wasn't easy in the first place I don't get their reasoning behind making it harder. They also added boss zombies that come at round 7 first and then at round 11 there's 2 of them!!!!! Why Treyarch!!!???
Edit: just got to round 30 on the giant but still only 12 on shadows

Shadows is hard because theres no spots to sit. Zombies come from literally everywhere. Whereas The Giant and previous maps had spots to sit, for example the catwalk on The Giant.

1 ReplyIt's the mechanics of the game people think that zombies have become faster but they have gotten slower the reason it's so hard is because the spawn rate has increased. Also the bigger the map means more zombies and the map has tighter areas that restrict movement to people.

Got to 36 in shadow it's easy just don't play with a full group it gets crazy fast and go for pack early I had it by round five

1 ReplyDude they -blam!-ing WINDMILL ME IN 2 SECONDS. The zombies are faster, they hit faster, it's ridiculously harder. I finally got the pack a punch room open at round 12. That takes so much time to do because you're busy trying to not die and stuff.

2 RepliesThe spawn mechanics take some getting used to. If you outrun a zombie too much, just like the magwa, it will actually respawn wherever you run to. Lmgs kinda suck now if you're 2 player co-op or solo. Shotties and smgs/ars are solid now

Zombies come out of pretty much everywhere. Map is a urban cluster-blam!-. alien boss is the new Brutus.

Its because zombies dont just come out of windows, they come from everywhere and start sprinting at a very early level

Edited by Dookie Monsta: 11/9/2015 2:02:42 AMGot to 24 last night and got halfway through the easter egg (it's extremely long) it is extremely tough at first, just go slow on a playthough and open everything up and really learn the map, that's the biggest issue with new zombies maps. Protip: the entrance to each district has a broken bottle which tells you which perk is in that district. Took me awhile to get it but it helps lol. Use vmp asap as it's high rof low damage kills as fast as ars but u put more bullets in which makes great cash. Edit, hydra spawns on round 8. Just run and wait for him to open a mouth and it glows yellow, shoot it then run, rinse and repeat.

They did it for their ranking system. Once you get 5 attachments and a sight in every gun it becomes sooooooo much easier!

5 RepliesBecause you do it wrong. Get the rituals done, find the symbols on the train and get the sword at an early round if you just run around and kill zombies like idiots you will get recked like in any zombies map.

The Giant is EZ but shadows is to hard and complicated and if I want to survive u basically are forced to do the easteregg

If anyone that's serious about doing the Easter egg in the map shadow of evil message my GT it's the same as my name. I've done all the main quest eastereggs starting with ascension,call of the dead, shangri la, moon. Tranzit, die rise, buried I've completed on the Richtofen side. And also mob of the dead and origins. I don't ask that you have done them all too. I'm just looking for people that listen and know what not to do.

The problem for me is how fast the zombies spawn in. You go get jug after round 5 and as your leaving 50 zombies come out of nowhere.

Zombies spawn points where modified somehow in bo3. Not exactly sure how but il update once I find out more.
