Sniper Rifles have ruined the fun
All I've been seeing for the past couple weeks are the majority of people using snipers and nothing else. They use them everywhere at every distance, even two feet away. They would rather use sniper rifles over any primary. I'm just done with this crap. PvP is no longer fun and it's a grind to do the bounties now.
Study your stupid heat maps and meta data bungie so you can see what I mean and make sniper rifles harder to handle than a primary.

4 RepliesI have to agree. People sitting at the back of the map sniping all day, is -blam!-ing annoying and boring as hell. It forces you to do the same. This iron banner has been crap thanks to the constant snipping. I don't blame people for doing it, it's just not a lot of fun. It's far too easy to pull off. It's a bitch game.

They need to make snipers clunkier. Something that you would want to set up in an area control role. The ADS should be much slower to discourage quick scoping. They should slow you movement. They should function more like an actual sharpshooter. No one is gonna charge into a building with a huge rifle with bulky, delicate sights, the whip a high caliber round into an enemy's face from three feet away. It feels dumb and I hate when video games encourage that sort of thing.

9 RepliesHere's the deal. It's a sniper rifle you should not even be able to find your target at close ranges. It's very frustrating when you are killed at short ranges by a sniper. I'm not saying nerf it but seriously it should be next to impossible to throw the weapon up, look through the scope, put the cross hairs on the target and get the kill at short ranges before I can kill you with my primary.

It's been about a year. Snipers like 1000 yrd have been around since the dark below. They've mastered the weapon.

No use man just pick up a sniper rifle, i did it two shotgun nerfs ago. You can two shot to the body at any range or headshot for the insta kill at any range. People say they're hard to use but they really aren't. [spoiler]1000 yard stare is a nice one to get.[/spoiler]

6 RepliesWhy walk around a corner if you know someone is hard scoping it? Go play iron banner everyone is using a shotgun there. You'll feel right at home with a bunch of morons charging around the map trading kills all night long. Trials and 3v3 is where you'll see a lot more snipers. And depending on the map a lot of kids will be sniping. I've seen far more shotgun usage then snipers.

I think the biggest problem is that snipers that don't have unflinching don't have enough camera shake when they get shot. I think this would make it less painful to battle snipers. Because if I'm getting successive hits on a sniper I don't think it should be quite so easy to headshot

14 RepliesNaw man. Nipping is pretty hard, but hard scoping ruins the game. Somebody camping w a sniper w their reticle in a high traffic area waiting for someone to run right in line with their sights, that's not sniping. that's hard scoping. The fact that this is so common is sad.
