Kd only matters in death match types. Even competitive players don't care that much about kd, strategy, team work, and communication will be key over kd every time.

Every playlist is kill-based. The objectives simply give more points per kill, it's still centered around getting more kills. If every team member has at least a 1.01 kd, your team will win. Every time.

There are a few that are not, and one objective type that the objective doesn't matter. Even so tactics and communication would win over a bunch of kid worried about kd...because the ones worried about kd only worry about themselves...not the team.

You missed the key factor of my comment. If everybody on your team has a 1.01 kd you will win the game. Period.

Which doesn't happen often. In control that definitely isn't true, as a team with lower overall kd can win if they have more or all zones longer. Trials is much different...and while kd will have a greater impact, still not as important as tactics and communication. And just cause the other team has one guy down doesn't mean you have a complete advantage.
