They say they banned people for disconnecting to much so not putting a loss on the card for a disconnect won't help them dodge tough matches. Seems like the only way to fix it to me. Maybe someone has a better idea though

No, cuz then it becomes early CoD. Shut down the system to prevent a loss in K/D..

They claim they ban those people though. Too many disconnects in crucible is supposed to get you a ban so if Bungie is doing they job properly people pulling the plug get banned anyway. Loss on disconnect is pointless in that scenario.

Still something that can be abused if implemented. It sucks that it happened, but there isn't a good way to fairly fix it. Get over it and restart
