Depends on the sword and class. I'm only talking about the gathering and ability kills, btw.
Solar didn't take long at all on my Titan. On the moon with instantly-reseting punches. Did it in an hour or so.
Arc took quite a bit longer, though gathering Spinmetal felt easier than gathering Helium. Took a bit more than an hour.
Void....yeah...void.............500 ability [b]kills on my Defender[/b], about to start it....pft, never going to happen. And on Mars?! Gathering relic iron spots is a pain. Probably going to take 3-5 hours or so.

Just play mayhem and spam grenades. Every kill is 1%. Armamentarium and max discipline shouldn't take you long at all
