People using high aim assist weapons in crucible with claims of elitism shall forever be branded as bot users.
The bullet curving is real and it's about damn time it was brought to light.

Edit: wow, this is actually trending. Let's make one thing clear from here before commenting; I am fully aware of the fact that other fps console shooters have aim assist.
What I'm saying is that this game specifically has WAY too much of aim assist. Top that off with terribly unbalanced PvP in general and boom goes the dynamite
Edit #2: I've had a few, no comments tonight; sorry guys and gals

First off, Sniper is aim assist is based on your recticle slowing down when you are scoping in. Try it in Patrol and you will see that your scope recticle will slow down when you sight in on a enemy. Hidden Hand improves Bullet Magnetism and slowing down your recticle but since snipers don't use BM it only does half of the perk. Bullet Magnetism is noticeable on Primary weapons, that's usually why it appears that you were shot through a wall.

Well said m8 to many 1000yard

Primary weapons do this. Not special weapons. #smh

The hit boxes in this game are very generous. You know, there is a way to make destiny a tad more competitive. These changes should be made to a guardian's shield. Let's put the mida multitool as example weapon. Right now it takes four hits to the head to kill a guardian. We all know hitting crits in crucible is fairly easy, so let's change it. Change the way a shield depletes. (Think of the minions of the darkness with shields) When the shield is active, there shouldn't be a crit multiplier. When you have depleted the shield of a guardian they can take one shot to the head with any weapon killing them immediatly. (Except for AR, depending on their impact). Of course a lot of 1 hit kill weapons still 1 hit kill. Mida multitool might kill guardians in 5-6 hits.

I just want -blam!-ing private matches. That's it. That's all.

Do you even know what aim assist is

And bungie thought it would be a good idea to add a perk to increase aim assist

3 RepliesI can think of a few games that do this 1. COD 2. battlefield 3. Fallout Its simply a mechanic in console games to make them more appealing

Every game that has projectiles has to have even the smallest degree of aim assist/magnetism or the said projectiles would fly around all over the place. There are some good articles out there about it!!!
-
Aim Assist doesn't work the way you think it does, and the fact you're only finding out about it now is adorable.
-
Aim assist and bullet magnetism are two distinct things. Aim assist is when your reticle moves with a target. Bullet magnetism is where your shots track the target.
-
Well ya, bullet magnetism has been a thing since halo

2 RepliesAim assist?! This must be new to the gaming world! Wait... OH! it is in every FPS on consoles since, um, ever. Awesome post.

16 RepliesBut shotguns are not a problem to you? At least a sniper rifle actually takes a little skill to use. The aim assist on snipers is fine how it is, please stop trying to make this game terrible -.-

You are just now seeing this video? This is OLD news broski...
-
But are you going to uninstall and trade in the game though? Yeah that's what I thought.
-
Narrator of the vid was a bit of an arse, but it's tough to back whoever was in charge of AA after seeing videos like this.. Especially the comment about how AA + latency = a shitstorm of curved bullets.

7 RepliesYou made an 8 minute video and took however long doing the commentary just to point out that a game that never sold itself as competitive is in fact not competitive. Good use of your time.
