Got all three pretty fast.
Mayhem is your best friend for ability kills.
1 Crucible kill= 1%

Really? Wish I knew that sooner! I spent hours doing strikes and Omnigul instead. Took forever.

Haha yeah crucible is waaay faster. I got solar ability kills done on my hunter in about four games of mayhem clash.

I really wish I knew that sooner. xD I hope others browsing this thread can use that helpful piece of info though. Thank you! I'll be sure to keep that in mind too if I want to get another on a different character.

Have you already finished the quest on the first character? If not transfer the unupgraded swords to your character you have the quest going on and upgrade and infuse them past 280 on the character with the quest active, then go to shaxx with that sword equipped and it will progress the second and third sword to what ever step you're on for the first sword. You can skip pretty much the whole first half of the quest.
