Most likely Raid Boss for 'Forge of Gods'
BEFORE YOU READ: This is just speculation, none of this stuff has actually been confirmed or datamined, this is all just putting together hidden pieces of the puzzle to figure out what the Cabal DLC may be about.
The most likely one, if you think about it, will be the Cabal's Emperor himself. It's pretty obvious considering Oryx was like the ultimate Hive, Crota the prince, Skolas like the soon-to-be leader of all Fallen (if he wasn't stopped), Atheon was like the bender of time and high rank of the Vex, so I think you get the point. When you kill the Shield Brothers, Cayde-6 mentions something about them being the last ranking officers in the Solar System, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Cabal Emperor is pretty pissed and goes with his highest ranking soldiers to attack the Guardians. Also that area you can glitch into by flying in with the sparrow and fist of havoc looks like somewhere that will be used for the Strike(s), or even the raid! If you guys have figured out anything else that could link to 'Forge of Gods', don't worry to post it here. Hopefully together everyone could break down a lot of things.

I don't think it'll be the ultimate cabal leader. I don't remember where, but I think the lore said there was other hive leaders and oryx wasn't the strongest.

That's all good evidence that we face the emperor. But look how tough the cabal are now (gameplay wise) so imagine how hard the emperor will be.

2 RepliesTo early for cabal emporer perhaps another large tauarc sized cabal or maybe an enormous tank that spews cabal like a spider tank spits out shanks.

Nah because if we kill the Cabal emperor this early on then there's no huge Cabal threat left for the rest of the story.

I feel the cabal have been the most neglected enemy in the game so far. I don't think we'll just go straight in and take out their emperor, but it's possible I guess.

I think the boss is going to be something like this... After every show for 10 years Oprah Winfrey has a slice of fresh, delicious chocolate cake waiting for her in her dressing room. Then suddenly one day it's not there. She easily dismisses it and decided she should do without it anyway. Then another day goes by without it. Finally on the third straight day without that moist chocolatey goodness she bursts open the door and screams, "WHERE'S MY -blam!-ING CAKE!?" Loading screen is done and the hungry endorphin-less monster is before the fireteam throwing fruit around the room.

Highly doubt it'll be the emperor himself. But more then likely high ranking cabals of some sort
