Bungie has made mention of diversity in armour choice in Destiny, and how guardians can look different from each other and (other comments here). They kinda did that when the Wolves DLC dropped, but now post TTK, not so much. I really want to have my Mantle Of Gellion cloak equipped on my Hunter, but that'll drop my light level as fast as equipping one of the Halloween masks, because for some reason a pre-DLC Iron Banner cloak has a light level of 30. My brother, who has had the game about as long as I have, has the Queen's Guard helm, chest plate and Titan mark from the Queen's Wrath event, and also the pre-DLC Vanguard auto rife the "Doctor Nope". Bungie plz allow us the community to use whatever armour, weapons and class items we want to without penalty.
