Yes, I know it doesn't exactly matter, but I am curious.
On my huntress, I am slowly raising it as I learn how to play smarter and more efficiently.
Currently sitting at a 1.4 KD ratio. Which I suppose isn't all that bad.

Anyone above a 1kd can obviously play the game. A 1.4 is solid.

anything 2+ is pretty good, anything below that is scrub status

I think it depends greatly on the weapons used in Year 1 (unless someone started at TTK, unlikely). Someone that used nothing but Thorn and Felwinter's Lie is bound to have a higher K/D that someone of exactly equal skill and class, that used any Scout Rifle and a Fusion Rifle, simply because their weapons were so much easier to win gunfights with and were so universal in Crucible until 2.0.

KD Lang seems pretty solid.

6 RepliesKD isn't relevant in a game like destiny, especially without ranked playlists. The skirmish KD is the only one that matters since there's less bullshit in that playlist. There's times when I get spawned in with the scrubbiest players on my team while I play against gods of destiny. I'll go 15-10, 20-17 which isn't that good but when you're basically doing a 3 on 1 it's all you can manage.

8 RepliesHonestly, I think a 1.5 K/D with a good combat rating is pretty solid. Remember, K/D doesn't make or break a good or bad player. Check out their combat rating also. When I'm playing against people I like to look up their K/D, and when they're above 1.5 I think they're alright. Little do I know they camp and can only kill the noobs but their gun skills suck when you face them 1v1. Also, people out there have very inconsistent games. Half of their games they'll do really good, then half they do bad. Probably because of the matchmaking, whether they go up against good players or shitty players.

6 RepliesEdited by lIIume: 11/5/2015 12:08:34 AMI wish DTR would match me against players of my skill. Instead it places the worst randoms known to man on my team & puts the average+ players on the other team.

A solid KD is 2.0 or grater. 1.0 through 1.9 aren't bad KD ratios, but they aren't amazing.
