After almost two months of the Taken King dlc being released, do you think it's really worth $40? State your reasons below!
At first, I thought it was but now I'm starting to think otherwise. I honestly think it's worth $30 max.

3 RepliesEven though it's not as great, awesome and hyped as in the start, two months of entertainment for 40$? Obviously worth it :-)
-
No, I don't. I've enjoyed my time on Destiny, will continue to play, but I won't be buying any more dlc's. Investing my time in Fallout 4.
-
Definitely for how much fun it's given me, I've got 9 weeks on this game since launch and I still love it. Working out £ for the time I've had playing, well worth it :)
-
Absolutely.

-
Well this was all suppose to be part of vanilla destiny so I would say NO!!!!!!
-
did 80hrs, but lot of content was recycled so no - £30 would have been a better figure.
-
Yes, definitely IMO.
-
I've definitely had more than $40 worth of entertainment since it dropped. I guess one way to gauge it is $ per hour. I must have played at least 100 hours since TTK so I guess I've been getting the entertainment for 40 cents an hour.
-
3 RepliesYes but now I'm bored with destiny. Halo was a disappointment but I still have high hopes for fallout 4.
-
5 RepliesNo, i dont like waiting months for the other half of what i already payed for. (You know, the exotics)
-
1 ReplyDefinitely. I've loved playing TTK and considering we haven't received all of the content yet, I think we've definitely received money's worth.
-
No. It cut the game in half..

Definitely. I've loved playing TTK and considering we haven't received all of the content yet, I think we've definitely received money's worth.

3 Repliesit was worth the $$& but the amount of shit that's broken and is simply being ignored is unbelievable still beta testing Destiny
-
no it should've been 39,95
-
2 RepliesIt feels like the first release all over again. It's pretty great and more than worth the amount I paid for it.
-
It's definitely not worth the £40 ($63) I payed.
-
Who the hell voted yes? It should have been $30. It wasn't good enough for 40 bucks.
-
-
I'd say it's worth maybe 20 or 35
-
No more than 30
-
I think it's worth $31.16.
-
I mean idk. I paid $20 to be entertained by HoW and The Dark Below and they both lasted like a month for me, meanwhile Taken King was double the cost at $40 and I had 2 months of entertainment so I mean I guess?
-
$40 is 2/3 of a game in money values. Not worth 2/3 of a game or even close to it. Even with the shortcomings of the base game destiny.

Edited by nRsia: 11/5/2015 3:23:55 AMIf it took 2 months after the release for you to get bored of it, you probably crunched a lot of time. More time than a typical game that isn't online. I believe you and everyone else including myself got our money's worth. However if you did everything the first day and stopped at that point...even still I would say 10-20 hours time spent on DLC is still worth the money.
