Let's name all the games that were supposed to kill destiny.
Every day on these forums a bunch of "this game will kill destiny" posts pop up. Too many for just one person to name. So name the games that had the kill shot lined up but missed and let me know how long you played it before coming back to destiny.
My first so called destiny killer purchased was Eso online. Was hyped for it for a while but once I got it I was dissapointed with it and only play it every once in a while. Time away from destiny about 1.5 weeks.

5 RepliesThere will be no need for a game to kill destiny, it'll kill itself eventually. I'm taking a break from it currently for halo 5, say what you will about it but I'm having a blast and the multiplayer is unforgiving but rewarding.

Its a breath of fresh air from the Destiny grind. I'm looking forward to some of the other ones this Holiday season as well. That being said... I'll be back on Destiny for sure, being away from it makes it that much better when you come back. In year one I took about a 3 month break around February and came back around April/May I think, it was so much fun talkin with my boys and doing nightfalls and chasing exotics and all that. the VERY BEST way to avoid Destiny burnout is to break. whether it be from games in general or just a different game. I just read an article yesterday on IGN about how Destiny has a record number of ACTIVE accounts.. Destiny sure is soaring with all these people on the forums saying they're done and/or quitting. Bottom line. Destiny is going nowhere anytime soon I can promise you that. Games like Halo and Fallout or Assassins Creed or whatever it is you Fancy will just give people a break and that's a good thing.

That game that was a free download on Xbox Battlefield [pick a number] Halo 5 (sad about this. The game is a letdown. War zone is kind of playable) Soon to be: Fallout COD Destiny is a very playable game. Always something to do. Tuesday resets Friday trials Crucible any time No other game compares to that. Nothing.

CoD advanced warfare lol people think that crap was gonna kill destiny. I played that game competitively for 2 months. Ended up reaching the top 25 in U.S Gamebattles ladder and then quit. A day later went back to Destiny. I love this game way to much to quit.

I even wanted more when I was done but lost interest early into a new game + restart, and happily picked up Destiny where I'd left off. 'Killed'? Nah.

Destiny isn't a game that can be killed, IMO. It's something you will just come back to when you are bored or to crucible with friends. There have been times I slowed down to play other games buy I always come back. Especially when TTK came out. Next time there is a big update I'm sure many will be back and all in until they get bored again
