Why your team might be failing at Oryx daughters check point

Wassup Guardians, Oryx daughters checkpoint is considered one of the easier check points in the kingsfall raid but yet it can be the one check point a lot of teams get stuck on, just go to lfg and see how many people have the daughters check point. The main reason I have noticed for this and it became more obvious a couple of days ago is people are so concerned with taking them down in two runs. Don't get me wrong nearly every team I have ever beaten them on I have taken them down in two runs but every team I have failed on we have tried it this way as well. The other day I was on a team, one of my usual ones, and there were a couple of people who weren't that comfortable doing the jumps but one guy insisted we had to do it in two runs. I Have been on a five man fire team and taken them down in two but even I could see that a couple of runners were able to make the jumps no problems, BUT just not fast which is what you totally need for the second run if you take down the first wich. I tried to explain to them that we should just take them down in three runs (nice and simple) they didn't and they never got it done. My point is that I have seen this many times, it does not matter if you have high DPS, if their are a couple runners who get torn on the second run who are not comfortable and can not make the run fast then you will probably fail. Take it easy just get them down in three runs it always works, why waste every ones time on a simple boss fight and have people getting stressed and end up leaving.

  • One thing about it is, you need people who are good at jumping if they aren't then they might end up failing.

  • Played it a lot. Both first run through and frustration wipes. Most wipes cause : a) jumping...random gets selected...give it a few runs..everybody has to lean..you did 2. b) wrong sequence / bad timing on plates. Easy solution...before starting, designate players to plates and make sure everybody says out loud : 1 on, 2 on, etc. simple.

  • Biggest issue is people who cnt run relic always 2-3 in the group who are clueless even after explained in detail how it works -blam!-ing clueless

  • This is easy mode and you're correct esp on hard many players feel they're too good to take three runs. We've had someone go down on first daughter and clear it with 4-5 ppl up doing three runs instead of two. Nbd ppl need to learn to adapt. Also save your tethers and wol for second daughter any time you want to do a two run clear. Easy peasy

    • I see this happening a bit. But honestly what i see more of is people still not knowing what counter-clockwise is for jumping on the platforms -_-

      • Bigger problem is the platforms. After you kill the first and kill adds, if the platform people just run to their platforms right away and hop on right away in order, the 2nd runner can just go and hop on faster. You can waste 5-10 secs making sure everyone is in position and then having the runner hop on with a call out. Clear adds, hop on platforms right away and have the runner go immediately.
