Pet Peeves in a Raid?
Just looking to see what really grinds some peoples gears if you are in a raid with randoms. I was in a raid yesterday and managed to pull a team that hit all aspects.
Blasting TV so you can hear everything twice
Chewing into the mic
Kids screaming, then the dad screaming at the kids

Not being able to jump on a -blam!-ing platform. Cmon kids did we not play super Mario?

Squeakers trying to take lead No, you joined my fireteam, you aren't in charge and your voice is annoying Shut the -blam!- up

Not calling out if they are on the plate, have the relic, have the gaze, etc. Just off mic arguing with wife, girl friend, etc. Going AFK in the raid for any reason other than a bathroom break. It is a raid; you are either doing it or you are not. Doing your own thing.

The one fireteam member that does NOTHING they're told to do and doesn't pay attention to sh*t.

I had a guy (kid) say he was going afk, be back in 5 minutes. In the middle of the golgoroth fight.

Chewing. Ugh. Grinds my gears anywhere. The out of game conversation/argument. I don't need to hear about how you didn't do your homework or that you don't have time to bring Jimmy to the pool. No one does. The man with the plan, but has never seen the sand. I love when someone (usually a squeaker) comes in to a team where everyone is a higher level than him(her?), but THEY have the plan. After several wipes and being blamed for getting them killed, you check the grimoire. Not even a normal completion... My own fault for letting it go past two wipes, but damn. We KNOW what the Zhalo does. We KNOW it's the only primary with a burn. We KNOW the Warpriest gains powers from each totem. We KNOW,... You know what? {kick} Had a guy change his litter box once because "he's the only one who does it". Turns out he was 15, hated school, his Mom sucked because she didn't have dinner ready, his brother had a job so HE didn't have to do chores, so unfair. He said he was going to get a job just so that he didn't have to change the litter box anymore. "Yeah. That'll show 'em." "What do you think you'd like to do for work?" I asked, half seriously. "I don't know. Maybe some nice cashier job so I can skim off the top." "You're going to go far, son. Maybe all the way to San Quentin." "Yeah dude. Like, that's the plan. <Snip> school, man. I'm gonna be rich. San Quentin." "Yeah dude. Do it." **eyeroll**

6 RepliesHonestly, I have no problem with you needing to eat lunch/breakfast/dinner/your girlfriend...but why would you wait until a boss fight to say" Hold on, fellas...I gotta go eat. Gimme 10 minutes"? You knew you were hungry BEFORE the fight!..but,I digress...shit happens for all of us.

3 RepliesPeople who start things before we've established who's going where People who claim they know everything when it clearly starts to show that they don't(like I literally do not care if I have to explain how things go we had had to learn at some point) People who just leave randomly(I don't care if you say you're going to leave for whatever reason) When people constantly are the cause of things not going well and yet they feel the need to tell others what to do or how things should be going

People who have mics that do not communicate whatsoever but cause the wipe. I'm fine with people who hold their own even if they don't have a mic. If you cause a wipe and own a mic but are not using it, say goodbye to my fire team.

3 RepliesThe group disbanding at Golgoroth after a few wipes, it happens every time I try to complete the raid. To this day that's as far as I've made it & I'll try again today to get a crew together to finish. [spoiler]fingers crossed that I actually get passed it lol[/spoiler]

At totems the party leader went afk for 15 minutes and we were all fine with it. Then at golgoroth my mom said I had to go pick up my room or get of I went afk for [b]2 min[/b] and got kicked WTF

People that move around a lot with the aura on the totems. I feel like I have to chase them so the aura passes on.

People that use shitty gear to bolster their light level.

If you need to clear your throat, please just mute your mic! I do it when I need to so why can't other people! It's just some common courtesy. Although manners and common sense are a rarity these days!

People that die and swear loudly then instantly call wipe! And then try blame glitches in the game as the reason they died. Meanwhile the rest of us are trying to communicate.
