Lilly groaned as she sturred slightly. She opened her eyes to find the ceiling of her room, everything was exactly as she left it. The door was slightly ajar and she could hear the fluttered voice of Daisy outside. Despite that, Lilly sat up slowly and winced as her head throbbed like a tolling bell. She put her hand up to her head to check but was met with a sharp prick. "Ow!..." she said quietly as she quickly pulled back her hands and looked at them. Her entire body froze. Her hands were coated in jet black thorns, her fingertips held the largest thorns almost to the size of talons. Her index's talon had a single drop of blood on it. As she stared at her hand, she began to notice her forearm. Rows of petal-like scales ran up to the elbow then fanned out and seperated more around her upper arm. Each petal was a slight shade of pink around the edges but a deep crimson red as they ran closer to the center. She began to panic slightly. "Do not worry, it will not kill you. If anything it will help you survive." Lilly turned pale white and slowly turned her head to look beside her. The ashen figure was seated right there, more clearer than before but still floating as if she wasn't fully developed. "What... have you done... to me?..." Said Lilly in a whisper to avoid attention. "I have given you a gift. The gift of protection." "Protection?!..." "Yes." The figure cocked her head sideways slightly. "Do you doubt me?" "Yes I do. What you are saying makes no sense! How is this protection when I have these... things on my hands." She held up her hands and showed them to the figure. "This frightens me. Take them off!" "I can't do that. I won't let go of you." "You?! You?!?!" Lilly's voice rose in panic. Daisy quickly came back in. "Lilly! Oh thank the Traveler you are alright!" "Daisy!! Please take these things off!" She held her arms out to Daisy. "Get rid of them!!" "I... I can't.... I'm not able to." "Why not?! You are my Ghost!" "Not anymore..." Said the figure in a whisper. "Not anymore." The Speaker walked in. "Daisy doesn't seem to be connected with you anymore." "Wh... what?..." Lilly shook in fear. She turned towards the figure and pointed at her. "It's all her fault! She did it!!" Daisy backed away slowly. "There she goes again... she was babbling about someone being there before the Fallen arrived." "Its not lying! She right there!!" "They can't see me." Said the figure quietly. "I am a Ghost." "Lilly." The Speaker's voice sounded worried. "I don't understand what you are talking about. There is something wrong..." "I know what's wrong and it's her!!" Lilly stood up quickly. She felt her anger rising as the pain in her arms quickly grew. "She's making me!!" "Lilly..." The Speaker held up his hands and began to back up to the door. "Calm down..." "That's good. Let your anger flow through you." The figure stood up and walked infront of the Speaker. "Water your garden and it shall grow..." "SHUT UP!!" Lilly roared and lunged at the figure in anger. She instead passes through her and almost crashed into the Speaker if he hadn't been moved at the last second by Cayde-6. "Welp. That could have been a doosy..." Cayde hid the Speaker behind him. "Stay back I'll try to talk to her." Lilly quickly got up and looked around the room. "I KNOW YOU ARE HERE!! JUST GET THESE THINGS OFF AND LEAVE!!" Cayde slowly approached Lilly. "Alright, alright. Calm down there... We are just going to restrain you for a minute...." Lilly turned quickly to see the figure standing where Cayde currently stands. She roared in fury and tried to swipe the figure before it dissapeared. Cayde back stepped several paces. "Good lord!... I said restrain not put you down!" Lilly felt agony as her anger rose further. The petals began to turn more crimson by the second. "Just leave me alone!!!" "Now calm down alright?.. Now isn't the time for murdering your dear old rogue-ish commander..." Lilly looked around to find the figure. She shook her head to clear the anger but the rage kept building. She hid her face with her arms and felt the wet petals kiss her face slightly. "Just make it stop!! Please!" "No problem. Just ah... stop resisting and start... not resisting?..." "Cayde, this isn't working." Zavala quickly walked up. "She needs to be detained now before she accidently hurts someone." "You are hated..." The figures voice fluttered out of the crowd. Lilly's head perks up and looked. She saw the faint remnants of her form as she walked out of the complex. "Get back here!" Lilly screamed as she bolted past them all of them. Zavala made a grab for her but his hand was met with a jagged back hand from her set of thorns. She rushed forward into the North Tower section. "Don't let her escape!" Barked Zavala as she rounded the corner. "Everyone doesn't want you..." The figure walked up the steps to the main courtyard. Lilly yelled in rage and ran after her. She rounded the corner to see her further ahead. "No one wants you here." Lilly took off and ended up in the small grass section near the front of the Tower. "Stop it!! Get these things off of me!!!" She screamed at the crowd in case the figure was there. The small crowd followed from the North Tower. Zalava's hand was bleeding badly but he ignored it. Cayde drew his hand cannon and pointed it at Lilly. "Now just calm down..." "Why won't you just go away?!" "Because I need you... you need me." The figures voice drifted out of the crowd. "Because you are losing it girl! We are here to help." Cayde slowly walked forward. "I DON'T NEED YOU! LEAVE ME ALONE!" Screamed Lilly. The figure stood infront of the crowd and Cayde-6. "You need me. I can give you power... just release it." She smiled slightly as Lilly's eyes burned with rage. "Lilly... just calm..." "JUST..." Lilly felt a burning feeling rush into her. "GO..." Her hand formed a Golden Gun out of instinct. "AWAY!!" Her arms erupted in flames as the petals burned and swirled around her like a torrent of ash. She aimed the gun at the first figure near Cayde. "Cayde!!" Zalava quickly ran up and placed a Ward of Dawn right as Lilly shot twice. They brought the Ward down quickly, but the figure wasn't there but in the crowd. She aimed at it and fired. The anger left her like an emptying drain and the fire died away as the ash blew away with the wind. She stumbled a bit and blinked. Her thoughts cleared as she looked at where she shot. The remains of a nameless Guardian smoldered as the crowd backed away slowly, in utter shock. Zalava's eyes grew wide as he watched the ash float away. "You... killed another Guardian." He quickly looked at Lilly and his eyes burned in pure anger. Lilly shook her head in fear. "No... no I didn't!... She made me!... I didn't want to..." Zavala pointed at Lilly. "Detain here now!" Lilly backed up to the railing. "Please I didnt... it was an accident! I just wanted her to go away!" "And you did make her go away." Zalava was in pure rage, his hands sparked slightly with lightning. "Permenately." Lilly shook and looked around her as Guardians slowly walked towards her. "No! Please... I didn't!... please!!" The figure appeared behind her. "Jump." "No I can't!..." "Just jump! I will save you. You are my garden, I need you alive." Lilly shook her head. "No.. I won't listen..." Her arms disobeyed her once more as the grabbed the railing and dragged her off. She screamed as she plummeted downwards quickly. Her ship suddenly sped into view as she phased into it and crashed into the chair, causing her to black out once more. Thank you all for tuning in!
