My favorite experience with Destiny lies within [b]HOUSE OF WOLVES[/b]. Here is my reasoning: [b]1: The most diverse weaponry.[/b] House of wolves opened up all weapons and armor from year one to be optimized. You did end game activities to earn the weapons you wanted, and end game activities offered weapons you needed. Any weapons from any activity could be good and I felt like I had options to choose from. I wasn't just limited to "The Red Death" and "1000 yard stare" for all activities. Also, heavies were useful in boss fights. Not so much anymore. It also gave people a reason to play The Vault of Glass in large number searching for that Fatebringer or taking down Crota for the Black Hammer. [b]2: More endgame activities[/b] Level 34 was a great level to enjoy the challenge in all endgame activities like The Vault of Glass and The Dark Below. They weren't a super big cake walk. I have only played VoG for the No Time to Explain quest since TTK dropped. All old content that we've payed for in the first place is obsolete. [b]3: Better PVP[/b] Yes, I said it. Pvp was at it's peak in House of Wolves. I felt that the guns that were used created a more competitive play style. The Thorn made you play more cautiously. The Last word made you a better close quarters player. And the Hawkmoon made you more accurate. I felt there was more skill and finesse in the hand cannon meta than there is now. Now ToO and IB are dominated by TRD and conspiracy theory/1000 yard stare. At least people had variety in shotguns and snipers before. You'd see efrideets spear/ LDR/ praedyths/ longbow and felwinters/ matador/ party crasher/ judgement. Now it's literally just 5 main weapons used. Pvp is bland and slow now. The fast paced aspect died with hand cannons. My solutions: Bring back old Raids and the Prison of Elders with enhanced difficulties I.E. He'll mode VoG and CE and a level 42 PoE including taken enemies. Give each of these upgraded activities new rewards that are worthwhile. Make these weapons cap at 300 or 310 light so the new weapons don't get overlooked. These will still be used in nightfalls and Kings Fall for the users convenience, but we won't see Necrocasm in ToO. Also give an enhanced etheric light for beating PoE level 42 that upgrades old non-raid weapons to 300 or 310 light. Again, not max light, but high enough so they don't suck. I'd enjoy using LDR again. We've paid or all this content but it's all useless because of the new stuff. We've spent $140+ on this game but we only have $40 worth of content that can be used. It's just a waste. [u]In my Honest opinion, this being an update would make this game over 100 times better and more fun. There would be endless fun to be had. [/u]
