Can I ever find a Group to do Golgoroth with 6 orbs?
Seriously.

Edit 2: And it blew up..
Also, I'm NOT by all means saying that the 6 orbs strat is better then one. I'm saying it's MORE FUN. If people enjoy doing he exact same raid every week... Meh take a hint.

People don't learn 6 orb now. Why? gaze runners get confused on where to run and people down there always leave some cursed thralls. Honestly, I prefer single orb. Double gaze running is literally running in a zig zag motion and I'm no fan lol

My grp always does the 6 orb strat. It's much more faster than 1 orb

4 RepliesFun? Sure. I'm not opposed to fun, but some of us really get our fun from the interaction among people and not from mechanics or really the raid itself anyways. So that being the case, it's better to just be efficient and do one orb.

I'm always up to run gaze in hard. In my raid we have two gaze people. One left and one right. We only use one orb stray still though. It's just there's a backup gaze guy to grab it in case he's facing wrong way. The puddles don't last long so you have to be quick

I'm pretty sure that this will be the strat in the challenge mode. I bet that they will force players to beat golgoroth in one round of gaze catching, using all 6 orbs. It would be hard but I think it might be possible.

1 ReplyI'd love to so six orbs, but it requires getting gaze six times, downing six orbs, and using all the ammo up. Most groups are so bad they only have one or two people who can run gaze, so it's usually never really done with six orbs

3 RepliesOnly if they make it a challenge mode requirement. My group used to always run 6 orb strategy until we realized we did the majority of our damage by orb 2 and would only have primary ammo at orb 4, 5, and 6. With limited ammo there isn't much of an advantage to using all 6 orbs.

This raids easy enough to were people should be constantly trying to improve their times and techniques. I'm not one to find the easiest way and only do it that way for the next 3 months. Personally the 5 in the hole and 1 runner that alternates with another runner is nice. There isn't really that much technique involved you wait till 6 seconds or so and just run to whatever side the next orb is on and boom get his gaze rinse and repeat. It's not like you have to go do this insanely complicated shit you just [i]Run, Jump, jump, turn, shoot, trot over and shoot his gaze.[/i]
