Are sword kills even possible?
I have never gotten a kill with a sword in crucible, how do you people do it? How am I supposed to complete my exotic sword bounty? And the sword kills with a crota mask?

The exotic swords are totally worth the grind. Another tip... If you give the other two legendary swords to the character who has one already, you only have to to get the crucible and major kills once.

Never go out in the open. Stick to corners and creep around and abuse the shit out of that block. It's rather easy

You dont need ammo to get kills. Takes 2 hits to get a kill.

I thought I was going to hate it but this quest was the most fun I've had in crucible in a long time. Rumble Playlists just KS and try to strip shields before switching real quick for the hilt-slap. I got a handful of kills every game and that was playing against shotgunning sweaties.

Go into year one rumble. Before you load in, check how many shotguns you're playing against. If more than 2, leave. All you have to do is chase people and ks. Jumping into someone's fight mid way is a great way to get easy double kills. I've done this on all of my characters, works every time.

I suck, really bad, this was pretty easy for me. I got about half with ammo and half with the hilt. When you have the sword, it zooms out your view, you can see around corners very easily, wait like a camper and slice. If using the hilt, use a grenade to damage and same corner tactic. Also if you have ammo, stay in confined spaces, don't go into the open even with the shield tactic.

I found it easiest (but still hard) to get the kills when you are in a game mode where kills are not a priority or attention can be diverted. For instance I got 7 sword handle kills in rift when people were focusing on either shooting the carrier or trying to kill the guardians in front of their carrier during rift. Found this mode the easiest to get the most kills, but like I said still very much difficult.

I did it the weeks that it was mayhem rumble and mayhem clash Maybe skirmish and salvage will work?

Its so easy! You just have to block incoming shots and slice the attacker

U can use the word hilt to get the kills hard but you can, it counts as one, if you get heavy it counts for more with the sword energized. me and two friends went into Rumble and just punched each other for a few rounds.

The sword is the easiest heavy weapon to get kills with. Maybe easier than a machine gun. The third person angle makes it better for you to peer around corners. Use your radar but use the third person view to your advantage. Don't go flying around corners. Also, a arc blade hunter helps if you can go invisible. Works every time.

Also set your agility to a decent setting so you can close the gap quicker.

Hey man..if you duck..you don't pop up on the radar as frequently. This helps for sneaky close quarters sword kills. Also the block on the sword is really strong. I've survived rockets with it lol. Patience and sneaky tactics, you should have it in no time.

Get the heavy ammo. Then hide. Wait until the explosions stop, then sneak around corners until you have the right opportunity to strike. Then.......BLAM SHOTGUN IN THE FACE! OMG MOTHERF$(%*! DESTINY I HATE YOU!!!!!
