How long did it take you to get your Exotic Sword?
Like the title states, I'm curious as to how long it took some of you to acquire your exotic sword.
Days, hours, etc.
Also, what sword did you pick up?
I'm currently trying to get arc ability kills and it's taking forever, so I'm pretty curious about the community and how long it took them.

1 ReplyFew hours, wasn't that time consuming honestly. Although the wait for armsday was annoying lol Helped get me into the 300s after being stuck at 299 for ages.

1 ReplyCrucible (not a fan) took a couple weeks, got a couple good streaks in Iron Banner. The rest I knocked out in a day or so of grinding - did all three on my 'lock to avoid the crucible part again. Got Dark- Drinker first, but Raze-Lighter is my go - to right now.

1 ReplySolar kills on the Titan was easy, just patrol the moon with constant punches ( vandals need a couple of gut shots so u can 1 punch kill ) , the pvp was harder until I used armour of light and a bubble in mayhem, the bubble draws them like flys to s**t and 2 hits with the hilt kills, got a couple of mates to help with the last quest. Sorted

Trying to get the rare planetary materials takes longer than the ability kills. I chose arc and for a storm caller the ability kills are easy. Especially with perpetual charge.

1 ReplyAll 3 in one weekend, then wait for armsday. Then grind that -blam!-ing strike because every dick that would join when I was at the boss would kill my knight even after I message them saying we can do both. So i would sit in the middle and wipe until a team player joined.

2 RepliesI had all 3 exotic swords on the start of week 3 for TTK. Arc blade was first, then dark drinker, then raze lighter. If you do all the exotic sword bounties on the same character it skips the crucible and asylum portions of the quest and goes right to ability kills and farming. Not a lot of people know this.
