ToO: How To Fix

1: no level advantages. It will make it so it's more skill-based and not if you can get a good drop-based. 2: No exotics=LESS op stuff like red death, etc 3: No supers BS 4: no heavy like quilliums terminus that will kill in 0.00000000001 seconds(exaggeration) 5: switch spawns so no one team gets a advantageous spawn the whole game 6: Make it so assholes that already went flawless so they can't do trials until next reset so they can't stop others from going flawless. 7: Make dedicated servers so a team doesn't lose to lag. 8: OR to fix numbers 1,2,4 a little make Trials Field test weapons only from the gunsmith that would be a riot What do you guys think? Bump if you like it!

  • 1. Level advantages should be there otherwise if not it should reward crap gear. 2. What why??? Everyone has the same chance to get each exotic and each gun is the same to that exact same gun (as in red death to a red death) 3. Go play CoD 4. Heavy isn't really necessary in trials but doesn't make a big difference. 5. Sure i guess but if you didn't notice bannerfall is symmetrical so are many of the maps theres some that aren't. 6. Make it so cry babies cant go back into trials c: 1 coin per character if you want to make it like that. 7. Yes the connection issue is a big thing in trials

    • I think the only valid and possible one is no level advantages. By removing, it open a wider field, and skill would be more relevant, as opposed to having better gear than your opponent. RNG should not play a role in competitive gaming. It's should be about timing and skill, not whether or not you dropped a 320 pulse rifle from the raid.

          • People should be allowed to play it as much as possible, if they paid for it, why should they be prevented from using, they don't stop people from running the raid more than once on a character that beat the raid that week, so why for trials?

Trials is pvp endgame like raid is pve endgame so lvl advance is good cos without it low lvl ppl could run it and get best drops if lucky and never need to realy grind at all + it anyways makes so little difference atm that its stupid cos every1 can run with y1 weapons and still dominate 2. That would be good but there are also realy god legendarys like IB pulse... 3. Same to me but then also grenades should have 3x higher cd 4. Heavyrounds makes more variaty to tactics so its good 5. Spawn swaps would be great! 6. Its should be that 1 flawless per char at weekend, so max 3x flawless per player 7. Something need to be done with lag, dc and cheaters 8. It could be like once in a month little difference that every1 wont get bored it too fast

                Have I been the only guardian where Titan solar sticky grenade does not kill sometimes? I did trials yesterday and I had Hunter warlocks and Titans not dying after being stuck with a solar grenade, and I'm not talking after they were revived, I'm talking about close quarters one on one freshly stuck and they won't die!

                    • I think the once per week isn't OK but I do agree with the rest and also if a person does lag out it should have a ultimatum where everyone is ejected from the match with no win or lose on your card I am tired of not going 9-0 because one of my team members gets kicked and its a 2v3

                    • 2 and 3 are debatable. 4 and 6 aren't really good options. Heavy round offers up a whole new type of round. It's usually a momentum shifter. Most rounds usually end without the use of heavy though. For people that have gone flawless. Many have friends which they would gladly help. Many enjoy the extra competition trials brings. Also trials has exclusive gear that can be dropped via participation. Restricting people that were up to the task of getting to the lighthouse isn't fair.

                    • Stop being a crappy crucible player get good or get used to watching other people flawless on twitch. The one flawless per week is so dumb by Monday the only people left eligible to play would be crappy players such as yourself. And then if you went flawless you would get the same emblem I got by beating top players. Sorry the lighthouse isn't a give me.

                            These are NOT set in stone and I will listen to feedback and make changes as needed. I know some of these changes are changes are far-fetched but I'm just trying to make trials a skill based arena like the Halo PvP instead of getting booty--blam!- by Hawksaw before I can even move lol. :)

                            • It's tough to adjust to new things in a game. They can make it boring and make you loose interest. I do agree though on the flawless cap. Maybe not at 1 but say 5. Even the ability to buy armor and weapons with the coins you earned in the crucable would be good because I have a whole bunch collecting dust. Level advantages I think are a keeper but only if we get all year 1 gear, plus a closer look at all the nerfs or boosts weapons got. I feel weapons are still imbalanced in the crucable. Eventually we will all look the same again that's why I push for year 1 gear. There should be a map rotation of all the maps in Destiny, year 1 and year 2. Even the regular crucable maps need this. It will test your skill and map memory to come out victorious. This has been pushed for a long time but Bungie still doesn't hear us on this. It is skill based so it does suck when you get close and lose. I know I suck at trials and crucable but the more you play you will get better. Find a team your good with and communicate with well. This is key to trials or any elimination game mode.

                              • The issue with taking away a super is problematic because then you're relying on the performance your character projects. So Mele's with be the dominating factor. Which class has the best Grenades or mele attack etc I think they should get rid of the ability to have the same super class on a team. That's the reductions type of team. We all know three sun breakers is a huge advantage. Having no exotics is another issue because what's the point of have them in the first place but to use them? Some are similar to most other guns, red death is just good for its recovery perk. I think red death should have a 1 second delay to its recovery boost I like the switching sides idea you had

                                  • Exotics are part of the game. Heavy is Part of the game. Supers are part of the game. They don't need to remove these aspects of the game to accommodate your personal preferences. You need to learn to adjust, to strategize, to learn and react. Learn when to use your super and when not to use it. Hammers are not a problem if you have a nova bomb ready. Red Death is not a problem if you have a red death of your own, or one of the numerous other primary weapons with superior range and impact. Heavy Weapons are not a problem, if you know where it spawns and how to avoid people who rush it. Above all you need to understand that you are playing Destiny. Not Call of Duty, not Battlefield, not Halo, not Mario Kart. Destiny. And, heavy weapons, supers and exotics are part of Destiny; so you need to learn how to deal with them long before you even think about being competitive in Trials.
