What is (-1)^∞? And is (-1)^(2∞)=1?

Is it 1, -1, or is it a Schrödinger's cat answer (1, -1, both, and neither). Is it defined at all or is it a x/0 type of deal? Because it depends on if ∞ is even or odd. But it should be both (and maybe neither?) since ∞+1=∞. And since 2∞ should be an even number is (-1)^(2∞)=1 ?
