Most heart racing moment ever in a video game.
Mine was when me an my buddies were doing trials (HoW [b]Year1[/b])and we were tied 4-4 and we were 8-0 on our card.
My team: 2 warlocks, 1 hunter
Their team: 2 hunters, 1 Titan
I was last guardian standing vs two of them. So I threw my trip mine at a door as they were rushing. Killed one. Other guy is chasing me down, and I activate my GG and so does the other guy. He misses 3 and has 1 left and I miss 2 and have 1 left.
We kill each other. And guess what.
[spoiler]BOTH OF MY FRIENDS HAD THEIR SELF REZ. THEY WERE JUST PUTTING PRESSURE ON ME. But it was awesome non the less. [/spoiler]
[b]Some people were very openly "wondering" why the enemy didn't revive their ally. It was 4-4 as I said and we had rushed into the base (Black Shield). I went right and my allies went left (to snipe). My friend snipes the other hunter, but the Titan FoHs them. Mean while I had ran through the door at their spawn to escape. This is where I threw my tripmine. They made the split second decision to not revive their ally, and come after me. [/b]

In the alpha. Just exploring the cosmodrome. Collecting spin metal because it was there to collect. And out of know where the skies go black. Dinkle bot screams "watch out!" And a huge ship drops down and releases a giant walker. With only two of us we sniped and sniped. Rocket after rocket. Sweat dripping from the controllers. Until finally! We destroyed the walker. That first public event was INTENSE!

I was playing S&D CoD4. I jumped on top of the buildings on cross fire, technically out of the map, so that i could run to the bathroom and be in a safe spot to avoid being killed. I come back and there is only one guy on their team and just me. The score is all tied up and its over time. I spot the dude running across the map to the bomb so i pull out my sniper and just run and jump off the building, to what would be a sure death when i hit the ground, mange to quick scope the dude in his face as im falling and proceeded to just float in the air as the scoreboard came up. They didnt have final kill cams back then, so they didnt see it. But my entire team was going -blam!-ing nuts because they all spectated it.

I agree with a lot of these, I'll add 2 more. Having the little girl in the original FEAR all of a sudden show up out of no where, use to scare the shit out if me. Also, Pyramid head in Silent Hill 2, not a good game to play overnights when you're working at a juvi facility.

I never changed the paint on the car, so i constantly had state patrol/undercover state patrol on me all the time. Then the screen flashes blue and fades back to normal with a emphasized [b]X5[/b] by the mini map. Holy. Shit. The combination of federal c6 corvettes, heavy rhinos/SUV's, and the cancer police code known as [i]ten-seventythree[/i](spike strip roadblocks) with cross and his cronies shoving me into the spike strips. All with 50+ units in the chase after me. And to finish the chase off, i would loose the cops and enter cooldown. As i look for a hiding spot on the map, cops would spawn next to the entrance of hiding spots. Usually entering hiding spots makes the cooldown meter fill quicker ending the chase. The game would -blam!- me over sometimes and the hiding spots would glitch out and make the cooldown last longer. I'd sit there for 10+ minutes waiting for the cooldown to end. Loved the aggressive AI of the policein that game none the less.

My snake got a quad kill in halo reach. My cousin was afc for awhile and I put my snake down by his controller and he coiled around it. 4 enemies ean up and started teabagging my cousins character because he was afc and right then diesel the snake moved alittle and squeezed the trigger and stuck a grenade to one of the playes faces killing them all. 100% true story

Dont know about heart racing. But gears of war 2 campaign really affected me more then I care to admit. Caution spoilers ahead [spoiler]The part where you infiltrate the locust base and look for Doms wife maria. You find her but years of torture and abuse have destroyed her mind and body. She is even unable to recognize Dom. Then he decides to put her out of her misery by killing her. It hit me like a train bro seriously. Had that scene/image play before me for the entire day. Heavy. [/spoiler]

30 minute match in modern warfare, the first one. Demolition on China town. Overtime, both teams dump killstreaks and it's one player left and me. He is camping on the grassy area with an RPD. I have a AK-47. I have gone building to building and we have 30 seconds left. He fires first while I'm still looking for him. He misses and stands up from the prone position. We both open our guns up and the match ends with him dead. The lobby which I couldn't hear before now sounds like a stadium cheering and cursing. I was king for a day. Been in love with shooters ever since.

Mine is not really epic but the most tear-jerking moment (IMO) is in The Walking Dead Game (Caution, actually a game spoiler below so if you have not played it don't open) [spoiler]When clementine has to kill Lee. On my list, this is just above when you kill Kenny in the second game[/spoiler]

Gonna sound like a huge nerd but idc... Nothing compares to hitting 2k arena rating in 3v3s (world of Warcraft) I woke up my entire apartment complex I think... it was down to the last 5min and we finally managed to isolate one... 2v3 against a rsham and a off healer with two minutes to go, we were 1995 at that point... Trying to burn them both before the timer ran out had me almost in tears

Oh shit man lol. This weekend we were 8-0 without a mercy, tied 4-4, and it was a 1v3 for the other team. Me being a pussy ass bitch, I ran to the back corner of the map for bait, and HoS all three of them in one throw. Maybe it was cheap but it was sure as hell fun.

Most heart racing video game moment was back in 1996 when I tried resident evil for the first time. I encountered that first zombie, ran out ammo and just as it was about to eat me I got scared and shut the game off lol.

2 RepliesI don't know how many Kingdom Hearts fans there are here but the most intense moment I've ever had was when I had to beat Sephiroth in the second one. First and foremost this dudes sword is 7 feet long. If that isn't an indicator as to how super OP he is, I don't know what to tell you. Anyways before the fight even begins you see his health bar is silver. Long story short, he has 26192731 health bars you have to take down all the while he's just causally sending mini nukes of complete and total destruction and teleporting across the screen swinging his huge ass sword (lag switching much geez) I my the miracle of God himself actually manage to stay alive throughout the shitstorm of his OPness. If you've ever had to run the sword on Crota prior to HoW on hard at lvl 32 and it was your first time, you probably know exactly what I'm talking about when I say my hands were producing oceans of sweat and all I could was my heart beat because I finally by the miracle of God brought him down to his last bar of health AND I WAS LITERALLY AN ASSHAIR AWAY FROM DYING. I never once in my life had shit my pants, but I was holding a pack of prairie dogs in my butthole at that moment. THIS DUDE WOULDNT STOP FLYING IN THE AIR LAUNCHING KAMEHAMEHAS AND SWINGING HIS 7 FOOT STICK OF DEATH BUT I STILL CLAIMED TO THAT ASSHAIR OF LIFE AND REFUSED TO GIVE UP. And I don't know if it was just me or the game glitched but he literally had no health on his screen and I continuously was laying into him. Until the moment came, I RECKT HIS ENTIRE EXISTENCE AND I BECAME OP. The moment was glorious, I literally jumped from my chair so hard that I broke two of the legs and just started running around my house screaming what to most people sounded some super Indian sacrificial incantation. And that, ladies and gentlemen, was intensity and exhilaration at its finest.

Last night trials against 3 sunbreaker a were down 1 to 4 Titans pop their supers we run . Guardian down .... Guardian down..... Last guardian alive blade dancer for the win!!! 2 to 4 were coming back snipe all three... 3 to 4 they realize that we want this flawless they step up we still snipe all of them 4 to 4 I pop my hammer they got rekt the end lel

ORYX HARD YESTERDAY... We got the the teleport stage on hard... Killed him then 2 of us randomly died.... Couldn't self rev for some reason... 4 players managed to do relic, platforms, kill 4 ogres and defeat oryx on hard.. GO TEAM!!
