You do realize the eye can't perceive past 30 FPS? Please do not go full retard on us
English

You're the retard lmao
-
Oh what's your evidence?
-
Try google. Human eyes don't see in fps because the world around us isn't made up of "frames". However, our brain can interpret up to 1000 fps. Depending on the strength of your eyes, the average person can differentiate up to 150 fps. Please do your research before spouting false information.

30 FPS was my past research a couple years ago from what I remembered. Apparently research has changed. I saw VSauce's video today about "Video" and it did mention 1000 frames but it can cause some people to have headaches and go dizzy. I'm talking about our eye watching a game not watching real life. Real life our eye makes motion blur to make up for the hand "randomly" appearing around you when you shake your hand really fast

Yes you're right. However, you can tell the difference between 30 and 60. You can also tell the difference between 60 and 120. The question is whether or not you care. I personally don't care at all if a game is 30 fps, could not care less. But I still admit that there is a noticeable difference between a game that's 30 and one that's 60.

Fair point. Truce?

Agreed

Edited by Daemon Jaeger13: 10/31/2015 6:09:11 PMIt's a myth dude...our eyes can actually perceive up to around 120 fps.
my mistake...it's much higher than that

It's a myth dude...our eyes can actually perceive up to around 120 fps.
my mistake...it's much higher than that

Perceive doesn't translate to comprehension. How do people not understand this? We're talking about 30 frames a -blam!-ing second. A second!
-
Military did experiments back in the 70s that prove that we can see up to 120 fps. The 30 fps lie was made up around the time film started, and was so film companies could save on money. Cost of film back then was much higher per frame than it is now. So...go do some actual research dude.
-
Seeing isn't the same as comprehending dude. Motion blur will always exist until they have a new way of displaying imagery. Going past 30 fps is the equivalent of letting you know the numerous digits past 3.14.
-
All I'm going to say is go do some actual research kid...cause you still don't get it nor do you know what you're talking about.
-
>named after alcohol >calls me a kid >"nor" Yeah I sure trust your credibility. -blam!- off loser.

Edited by Daemon Jaeger13: 10/31/2015 7:23:46 PMNamed for the german word for hunter You must be uneducated so must be a kid Nice try...now go do some reasearch and try harder next time.

Edited by mcclean94: 10/31/2015 7:33:06 PMHa! Yeah sure I'll just assume he must be a German hunter. Try harder to justify yourself next time. You're making yourself look like either a kid or someone who's older but still can't be taken seriously by anybody.
-
Dude, please. Just stop while you're behind. You're making a fool of yourself
-
Stop? Stop what? These dipshits see in either black or white. The eye can see more than 24fps, but does it comprehend anymore than 30fps? No. Light is a prime example - we can see it but can't observe it on its own. That's why each motion between frames is blurred. Our minds comprehend the image as it's necessary just as our eyes let in x amount of light. Comprehension isn't the same as observing.
-
If we can't comprehend past 30fps, then how is it when I loaded up Destiny (30fps) after just playing Halo 5 (60fps), I IMMEDIATELY noticed how bad and how much different 30fps is compared to 60fps. The answer is because I, and everyone, can comprehend frames past 30. I won't even get started on how bad going from a 120fps MMO to Destiny is, that might be too much for you to comprehend
see what I did there? -blam!-ing idiot lol
-
Edited by mcclean94: 11/1/2015 7:19:44 PMReread the post.
you can't comprehend motion blur you -blam!-ing idiot. I'm guessing you can count photons too. Learn how to read and -blam!- off. Still you illiterate dumbass especially flock to my post.
Right...considering you're either a moron or lazy I'll forgive that comment. I'm thinking both, and since you don't seem to have enough intelligence to look it up yourself I've included a link. It's a little more complicated that what I was trying to say, so if needed I can dumb it down for you. http://www.technologyx.com/featured/understanding-frame-rate-look-truth-behind-30v60-fps/
