Who actually uses the "lock" ability
I never really knew what it did except not allow you to slip up and dismantle the wrong item, unless there is another use for it why did Bungie make it lol

I use it on every item unless I am actively dismantling or infusing.

So one does not accidently infuse a gun.

All of the time... I accidentally deleted my very first Fatebringer cuz I was in a hurry deleting other garbage in my inventory... Got my second and locked that beeyatch up tight... So now, anything awesome I find is locked...

My brother who has played since the beta had no idea about this. I couldn't stop laughing when he was so amazed by it lol. Also he has never accidentally dismantled anything anyway.

Ever since I deleted my vision of confluence back when it was very relevant I lock everything that I use more than 3 times

I'm ocd so I lock everything. I also instantly dismantle unwanted stuff eg picking up a blue that's bad, menu and delete right away. Doesn't matter if Oryx is 1%, would dismantle.

I use it so I don't accidentally do that, and so that I don't infuse something.

I use it, right after I dismantled a legendary by accident. I was pretty tired at the time and decided ton play just a few minutes more before bed. Lesson learned.

Me. It's too easy to make a mistake after I've been playing long and don't realize how tired I am.

I've been getting awfully sleepy trying to finish up raid stuff and I've found myself dismantling things w/o thinking... So, just about everything is locked atm.
