One of the benefits of being a hockey fan is that I am exposed to Russian names, and therefore pronunciations, rather frequently. So I knew about the 'Zh' part. However, I didn't know about the part where the O sounds like an A.
The good thing is that it now makes sense why the Russian ring announcer in Rocky 4 says Drago's name like "Draga". I always wondered about that. Thanks!
