The only thing that can outgun a black spindle in dps is touch of malice. But the touch will kill you to. In terms of dps black spindle -> everything else

This is not correct. BS has the highest dps on all critable enemies out of every gun in the game. Sleeper simulant has the highest dps out of all guns against non-critable enemies in the game. ToM is only nice in fights where you can abuse the infinite ammo and double damage because you don't have to worry about missing shots every so often or running out of ammo.

You must have never used the TOM with blessing of light and weapons of light on the war priest, or you wouldn't be saying this. 6 touch of Malices with weapons and blessing downs the war priest in 1 round on hard mode. Just back into the bubble when you lose your over shield. I have never seen the war priest go down in 1 round on either mode with 6 spindles. I think this proves you are wrong.

It has higher damage on individual hits but not higher DPS. Read the statement before saying something unrelated to what I'm saying.
