Why would anyone need to buy weapon parts? I have over 1000 between my 3 characters.

They aren't undoing the weapon parts you get from dismantling weapons. They are going to sell weapon parts via the gunsmith.

Of all the BAD reasonless decisions that Bungie has made, THIS IS THE F'ING WORST!!!!! And they don't even seem to give a chit!!!!! Makes the game not worth playing when you cannot upgrade the gear you work to get!!!!!!!!!!!!!
