Best place to farm relic iron?

Mars, day one, 1.5 hours, 68 Irons, 1 from 10 found. This was in the start area. Mars, day 2, 1 hour, 120 found irons, 9/10 found. This was in the area back and forth between Valley of Kings and the Gate to the Black Garden. Another tip, if you have a hunter, use the perk for awareness. And if you have the exo sniper Hereafter, use it and view the area thru the scope. Both will help you in finding the materials.

2 RepliesYou could always drop some Marks and buy the Competitive Shell from Shaxx. Gives bonus Relic Iron when picking up Engrams on Mars. Anything on Mars counts. Strikes, patrol, missions, etc. Can get between 2-5 each time.

2 RepliesIf you are farming for sword materials, then the starting area. If you just need relic iron then it's best to just buy it. 10 marks for 20 iron.

This one kinda sucked. There really isn't a good area for deposits.

1 ReplyThe starting area or buried city. Could always find one close to the edge of an area and farm it like the HoW chests. Leave the area after you pick one up and come back. Doesn't always worked but I managed to farm one node for 30 mins
