The NOT Halo 5 thread!
Not that Halo isn't a fantastic online FPS, but this site was always going to drown in Halo threads given it's basically an ex-Halo forum.
As such I just wanted to start a thread for ANYTHING other than Halo talk
[spoiler] I know we'll get the halo uber-fans spamming here too but if they bump so be it lol[/spoiler]
Lots of interesting new games announced recently at Paris games week, then we have the new Nintendo rewards announcement, etc.

14 RepliesAnyone have any guess to how powerful and what will come with Nintendo's new console/mobile project name NX. -Power wise for the console It'll probably be around the X1 if not a bit below that. Maybe it'll be only digital games? -Mobile unit I think it'll be akin to the Wii U pad but will have better resolution and smaller form overall. I think they will also offer mobile unit separately if you don't want to buy the console. -Region lock I hope not. It sounds like Iwata wanted to try and move away from that. -Backwards Compatability No. I think it'll emulate older games but won't have BC to Wii U or 3DS/New 3DS games -Price $399 for the console and mobile unit and $120 for the mobile unit.

6 RepliesHow about I start off with the announcement that PC players are getting a ton of free games and DLC if they had to suffer through the broken mess that was arkham knight. http://www.videogamer.com/pc/batman_arkham_knight/news/batman_arkham_knight_pc_buyers_to_get_free_arkham_asylum_city_and_origins_as_compensation.html Do we feel this is adequate compensation? Seems generous to me.

Driveclub is running at 60fps in VR now with some concessions (4 fewer cars, less dynamic weather and no wing mirrors at the moment lol) http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-10-28-driveclub-debuts-on-playstation-vr-and-its-mightily-impressive VR looking good, especially with grab turismo sport announced

2 RepliesI'm excited for Fallout and I'll probably get Blops 3 as well. I find the Halo explosion amusing though. It's interesting to see #gaming so active, even if most of the threads are incredibly redundant. I'm seeing people posting here that I've never seen before lol.
