Nope. Everyone has it so its a safe bet you'll have 4 or 5 people using it on oryx. Doesn't take 6 to stagger him lol... Plus I haven't seen a ToM out dps me on the daughters yet.

Yeah, it is close actually. ToM isn't as good as you'd like to think it is, I can do 350-400K damage every time with 1000 yard stare. The best people with ToM can only get that if no one else is using ToM and the witch stays alive long enough.

Overall a good sniper is a better weapon but not against the sisters and I'm not saying snipers are bad but a malice will beat it every time simply because of the reload on a 1k yard

With sniper reload on the raid gauntlets thats not an issue. I know I can hit the crit every time on the sisters so I could lose dps by using ToM. Unbuffed 1000 yard stare does around 23k damage, and I can get 5 rounds out of mine. You'll have enough time for about 3 reloads which is 345k damage unbuffed. With the raid gauntlets and sniper reload perks you can get another reload and some change. Add weapons of light, and a fast runner and the damage will skyrocket from there. ToM is easy to use, but not the best.

Either you are lying, you are playing with people who can't aim, or you are using a gun that no one else in destiny has. ToM puts out the highest dps by far on sisters. Nothing else comes close.

I haven't seen a sniper get 450k on daughters.

I haven't seen ToM do that either unless no one else is using ToM. Nowdays everyone has it so the witch doesn't stay alive long enough to reach that number. I can however reach 350-400K every single time.

There is always one guy with 400k+ it's usually the player closer to where you set up

I agree that you can bank on other people with it. I was happy to get it for crazy lfg requirements, but honestly I keep up just fine without swapping out Spindle and nobody ever complains. There's always more than enough DPS from the whole, at least in my experience.
