Anyone else running into the Titan =/= Defender issue?
I initally did not level defender because i wanted to test and use the new spec...
Now people are constantly not understanding that I'm unable to run defender because I am slowly chipping at levelling it.
Anyone else running into issues with the metas?

Even though I am currently leveling sunbreaker subclass, Defender is still my Titan class of choice.

Upgrade all ur sub classes or the problem is going to continue lol nobody want Ann incomplete character on the team

When I first started out in Destiny, I had a similar issue. I fell in love with the Striker subclass and knew for a fact that I could hold my own in a fight, so my thoughts were "Why should I bother leveling something that I don't exactly [i]need[/i] ?" What I didn't take into account was the fundamental importance of teamwork. Individual skills and personal preferences aside, what really matters at the end of the day is the entire fireteam, not one individual guardian. That being said, while it was certainly true that I could protect myself and get along just fine with the Striker subclass, I found that I became a lot more useful to my team whenever I was running Defender. Rather than dealing constant damage (which is something that the other classes have absolutely no problem doing on their own) the focus of my play became backup and support. If someone is under heavy fire, you can stop it. If someone needs a safe place to heal up, you can provide one. If the team needs to hit the enemy harder, you can help them. My advice: Give your Defender priority, at least for now. You might not need it (heck, you might not even like it), but trust me - it pays off in the long run.

Defender is your foundation as a titan. Sunbreaker and striker are nifty distractions, but a good titan is a good defender above anything else

Its kinda shitty, I know. The only thing you can do basically is hold off on raids and such until you level it.

I deleted my boosted titan because defender was level 1 so I just got a new titan to 40 and I am about to get weapons of light. Haven't used sunbreaker yet

I've made 5 different Titans. Every single one I leveled defender first. Atheon, crota, and oryx the defender class is usefull

Nope, been playing since day 1. So all my sis are maxed. Strikers, and Sunbreakers are great fun. But it's hard to beat having a bubble in a Raid.

1 ReplyTitan was the 3rd character I made back in the day. The first subclass I leveled up was defender. I love shotguns and w. St. 14 indestructible pve combo It was no surprise every pve activity was easier as a titan

Yes I had this problem back when Crota hardmode launched, my best advice is main your defender Titan for the next few weeks, do all the bounties you can, save up some bounties and use a RedBull code

Stop being lazy and level up your defender until he gets blessings. In Hard mode it is extremely useful and you want to be able to help your team. For normal raid you can do without it but it's still nice to have weapons.

1 ReplyDefender class has always been the best subclass with the most potential in pve and pvp. Be scared of a sweaty try hard hunter, but FEAR a skilled defender.

Strike playlist and run any quest lines you have left and it should be done enough to do whatever you need to
