So, I'm still forming my thoughts on Halo 5's campaign, but the plot points from Halo 4, 5, and other media leave some REALLY exciting possibilities.
How will the AI Assembly factor into the Reclamation? They seemed interested in working alongside humanity
If Cortana is defeated in Halo 6, she may need to be called upon and given authority in order to use the solution she talked about in Halo 3 to stop the Flood.
The Didact may need to be called upon by the Master Chief to stop the Reclamation. But will he remain an ally or take advantage of the opportunity?
Two Covenants will be formed in Halo 5, those pro-reclamation, and those anti-reclamation
Cortana talks about burning and reshaping those who oppose the Reclamation. She will Compose them.
The Domain has been revived. How and why? Precursors? Will the Domain's consciousness reawaken?
The Flood is adrift on the Spirit of Fire, heading back to UNSC-controlled space. They would ruin the Reclamation if they were to reemerge as a threat.
859 Static Carillon and Installation 03 are still missing.
The faction of pre-Covenant Sangheili living on the Refuge are still around with Enduring Bias. Will the refuge be used as the base of operations for the protagonists?
What will Mendicant Bias do/think about this, and where has he gone? Is he dead?
How will John's geas factor into this?
How will Genesis be used?

I don't know what you'll think of this idea, since it's quite a long shot. What if the Flood somehow accessed the Domain at some point? It would make partial sense, considering that they might go after the Organon. That would mean Cortana is victim to the corruption that ancillas suffered. But it would also mean that they voluntarily left her love for Chief intact- imagine if the conclusion of Halo 6 is the Flood and/or Precursors naming Chief as the inheritor! That would be so epic. But this theory is literally something I came up with while taking a shower. It's very improbable, but I think it would be a cool and very doable concept to implement for Halo 6.
-
Did you notice that Cortana started quoting the didacts speech from the end of Halo 4 on the last mission of Halo 5? Did the domain tell her that or...?
-
Pre cursors come back and...
imagine
-
I'm just happy it looks like we're finally going to be seeing another Halo ring in you know... Halo.
-
If the talk is true about 343 killing off chief and replacing him with Locke in H6 I'd say chief will go out either taking down Cortana or Cortana stops her plan because in a rage she kills chief once she sees what she has done she basically deletes herself. If not one of those two the I reckon chief sets up a mission to stop Cortana sends Locke to find some form of kill switch (a way to burn her from the domain) while chief tries to distract her it either works or she discovers what's going on and kills chief in a rage then in a moment of regret she cradled his body with tears in her eyes as Locke finishes his mission and burns her from the domain.
-
My prediction is that chief will have to end up killing cortana himself.

Edited by Adamal123: 10/29/2015 10:15:38 PMInteresting comment made by Gamma 46 on Halowaypoint:
Well, let's find some common ground here: Who influenced the Ur-Didact and made him get aboard the crazy wagon? The Primordial. Who influenced and tortured Cortana and pushed her to her limits? The Gravemind. Who wanted to assimilate all of humanity into his Prometheans? Ur-Didact. Who wanted to assimilate all life into a stagnate, "safe" existence? Cortana. Who is concerned with corralling all species into subjugation and eventual unification through absorption or finding a proper bearer of the Mantle? The Flood. The Precursors. The Primordial. The Gravemind. Methinks Cortana and Ur-Didact are both victims of something else much more sinister than ol' Ur-Didact on his lonesome.
This was a response to another users theory on how Cortana isn't really Cortana.

So, wait...what do you mean, Installation 03 is missing? How did they misplace an entire halo?
-
I really need to read the books. Half the shit mentioned makes no sense to me.
-
I need more Exuberant Witness.
-
I have a mass effect feel. And that the race cortana said I never heard before, would be like the bartarians (you know random alien race that comes in at final installment lolz) But anyways if they are thinking of finishing here (6 is a safe end, then there MUST be : Flood A tie in like flashback mission to play as ancient human (please) maybe to show flood backstory to those that for read. Medicant bias. Flood represent plz I'm pretty sure bias is in control of that ring, not cortana. I see no reason why cortana would put that there. Librarian? It's almost guarantee that didact is fooling cortana pretending to be the domain. I would have preffered that cortana was taken over (to protect innocence) but that can't be
-
I hope this is setting up something for the Precursors. "The Mantle of Responsibility belongs to the created." Sounds like Cortana is misinterpreting the Mantle. The actual created being the Forerunners and humans, whom were created by the Precursors. Do you think Warden and Cortana could be under the influence of the Logic Plague?
-
I really expected mendicant bias to be in halo 5 and also hoped for flood. Not cortana being the antagonist
-
Halo 6 is the end of the Master Chief storyline, unfortunately. He will either die, or become resolved in a sense. But despite it being Master Chief's last game... Halo will be still be making games. even around the year 2030. You can quote me on this. I'm from the future.
-
A halo world will be repurposed to destroy all AI life. Like the old cop out in movies when aliens invade? To kill them all you must kill the one controlling them. I also predict master chief going down in flames ending cortana. And Locke finding master Chiefs helmet, there by passing the mantle. I hope I'm dead wrong. Also, the next halo needs to get back to basics. Chief is a loner. No team stuff.

Edited by FriedUpChicken: 11/2/2015 10:39:35 AMAlliance VS The Created and Prometheans. It's all gonna come down to the reactivation of Halo rings. I'm calling it! Edit: The Flood could also make an appearance, should the Spirit of Fire come to play. The Flood could control ships and access the coordinates to any human colony in the galaxy on that ship.

Halo 6 is gonna be so good.. But what will replace the covenant? Since the storm covenant have been defeated, will the brutes come back and make their own covenant So many possibilities
-
Isn't there supposed to be contained Flood on every Halo Installation? If so I would love to see the Flood come back as an enemy/ally in Halo.
-
If you saw the legendary secret ending, I'm going to go with the halo rings having a large factor In it
-
I want to know what you think will be 6's plot?
-
What are your thoughts on the current AI conflict having parallelism with the Mendicant/Offensive conflict?
-
I get the uneasy feeling that Chief is gonna die...I had that feeling this game, and he AND Blue Team almost died.
-
Do you think the flood or maybe even Precursors will show up in Halo 6?

Why didn't Roland join Cortana?

Cortana will go on a genocidal rampage then Hitler will fight Cortana 10/10 ign
