How are you supposed to do the Raid if there are just "only 310+" Jerks?
I just wanna get some gear, honestly...I know how to not -blam!- it up goddamnit. Most of them aren't even Y1 players -_-

I was looking through the KF posts to do it on my 295 tian and all I saw was 305+, 310+ I even saw one group asking for 320+. This was for normal mode.

you can do up to oryx at 305..... other than that oryx is just to sketchy for low level RANDOM players.

Do normal scrub. Do you think i just woke up one day and had 310 gear no i did the raid on normal every week until i was 310 then i moved on to hard mode. Dont cry because you want to skip a step that we all had to do.

7 RepliesOh man. Okay so let's start with the obvious. Start your own post on LFG. If that doesn't work for you then just join a group under 310 and go as far as you can. My guess is daughters. Do that a couple times then you'll be 310+ and can try to join those groups. You coming here to cry that some of the kids on the playground won't pick you first for dodgeball is pretty embarrassing.

This always happens in every raid. Don't give up, there has to be some people who run without care.

Just find clans that have no requirements. This was going to happen eventually. Later on they will ask for a specific weapon.

People on my friends list know that I can hold my own even at lower levels. That being said, I am waiting to kill oryx with my clan cause they are a great bunch and it would be a much better experience. Sure I could go with another group but hey these guys brought me into raiding and I will stick with them till the end.

I don't feel they're being elitists, but more that below 310 you die SO fast if you get hit. Hell you die fast at 310 if you're not careful but that extra 2 shot buff is the difference between making it back to the aura and not. I feel Bungie amping up the difficulty is what made people be "elitist" because let's be honest, MOST people don't wanna fight Oryx for 5 hours. And the higher light level you have, the more likely they've beaten it already and know what to do, or can handle the dmg output( both giving and receiving) enough to be alright.

Honestly you don't even need to be 310. It makes it easier but shouldn't be a requirement. We took a 307 into oryx and he did just fine. You just need to find people who aren't aholes. Psn is arciba1002 if you need help.

I did it yesterday with not a single person at or over 310. Have to be damn near flawless, because a tiny bit of bad luck will essentially kill the run unless you have freaking all-stars

Get around 307 by doing normal. After reaching 307 start you own group with other 305-310 and do the hard mode upto oryx and get higher in level. Sure it will take a 2 weeks if have all characters to get ready for oryx on hard mode. The wait is definitely worth it. That is what most of the players are doing at this point. There are some people who managed to do the raid on hard.

I briefly checked out your raid stats and it seems that you're hardly ever top 3 while you're mostly on the bottom.

I would ask for 311+ I'm 314 trying to get it done not to carry a bunch of unlucky people

I'd say you can run the whole raid on hard with 300+ light. Oryx I'd say you need 310+
