Not actually complaining, just wondering why Bungie added it in HoW and took it off in the next expansion. Failed experiment? Created too many monsters in PvP?
Also, why didn't they upgrade the levels of old raids and prison? Smh...

Because Crucibabies bitched about Felwinter's.
-
Because it broke the game.
-
Because have the forge option potentially allowed everyone to have the best version of every gun. That's really what hurt weapon diversity... Not elemental primaries like Luke says...
-
Bungie got a headache with all the bitchy whiners in year one. This too OP, that too OP.....:( Easier this way for them

Weapon parts are gone?
-
I think it's because it made the weapon variation stale. Everyone had the fulcrum with LitC, smallbore, and final round (Fulcmoon). Everyone also had pretty much the same PR's and shotguns.
-
Because they want you to have endless grind only to end in failure to get a decent gun. Like everything in destiny pvp bitched and moaned and ruined fun for everybody. Honestly there is still no Ttk gun that is as good as a pre ttk gun in my vault. Not roll wise. Like i got full auto shotguns in all flavors that are beast. Got one in ttk but its just ok. Amd it foes for pretty much every legendary class of weapon i have.

Game would be even more broken

I personally believe they took it out because of what you mentioned before, being that "God roll" guns were becoming too prominent. For me atleast, it took out the hype of getting that awesome drop from an engram since you could just reforge it.

1 ReplyBecause everyone would have guns with outlaw/firefly/full auto
-
It was just way too broken. Just like taking away elemental primary weapons.
-
4 RepliesI'm pretty sure it was because it made it too easy to get those 'Perfect Rolls' on weapons and practically eliminated the 'hunt' for weapons with 'Perfect Rolls' don't quote me on that, I'm pretty sure that was the reason though.
-
Because everyone used the same broken rolls

Edited by Totembreaker86: 10/27/2015 6:56:33 PMBecause we already have a weapon part shortage. Honestly I think so that you run content over and over till you get what you want instead of sitting in the tower holding a button. Just my opinion though. I don't think they ever say much of anything let alone why they left content out.

Everyone was looking for the same rolls on every weapon. So it basically took all weapon diversity oit of the game
