Oh god stop timed quests. I'm AT WORK
I miss every one of them. Is this game really just for kids out of school and YouTube money makers?

But..... the timed events are timed so that not everyone can do them. It's a way to extend the life of the game. There is so little content that, were it not gor the timers, you'd have the game finished in a few hours. What fun would that be?

Waaaaaaaay too much stuff kicks off or happens during the typical work day. They even had a Bungie bounty once smack in the middle of work hours on a Wednesday. Big events need to switch to weekends.

What is time-gated in Kings of Decay? All I can find is reference to a "secret" ghost that I picked up in the normal mission.

Bump this. You have to be an unemployed person or a teenage kid with access to the parents credit card to get everything in this game. Thankfully it looks like fallout and 2016 will bring some new things to play.

1 ReplyWe wish, of course then master Luke announces on Twitter that in the coming weeks Bungie plans to release at least three more time gated events in the Hard Mode RAID no less where players can get the last 3 calcified fragments (one in each event of course) by changing something up. So I hope you have a Raid team on speed dial since these events surely won't last long.

6 RepliesIt must be rough living and sleeping in a bet at your place of work and working 24 hour shifts 7 days a week with absolutely no free time whatsoever. That must be your issue, since the 'timed events' last at least 24 hours. There's plenty of people that work, pay their bills, go to school, have kids, etc, and still find time to actually play without putting their health and employment in jeopardy. All that being said, timed events usually roll around again, so if it you miss it once, hopefully it'll be available to you again so you can catch up where you feel you're behind in whatever race you feel you're in against other people.
