What is the final point of festival of lost whatever?
I really don't see anything coming out of this other than shitty consumables that I don't care about am I mistaken? Are there any real rewards or is it all just pageantry?
EDIT-wow all of you talking shit because I asked of there was more to it than is apparent...you guy seem like such fun. I don't want to miss something of ACTUAL WORTH because i don't have much time this week but uh yeah go ahead and rage agaist the machine.

Totally pointless. Just a way for Bungie to try and sell more silver for real cash. They should've made it so when you turn a mask legendary, it gets armor and perk stats. Make it actually worth keeping.

The consumables are [b][i][u]limited time only[/u][/i][/b] You cant get more until next festival. Same with masks and doing the mask quests. The idea is grind it out and get all the consumables you want for [b][i][u]the year[/u][/i][/b] And so you can look OP in crucible with masks an own face while looking semi unique

It's fun, it's different, but totally a cash grab. At the end of the day, that awesome legendary oryx mask drops my near 300 light level to around 260ish.

It's something different than the same old grind day after day. I thought it was actually pretty cool. Hopefully we will have snow at Xmas.
